Thanks for letting me know. I'll report it to ebay this time rather than a polite request. I don't want to draw attention to the items, or give them indirect advertising, so I won't put a message on the site, although this might be a later option.

Thanks for the messages of support. All has been resolved amicably now - the seller has apologised and will not be selling any more items from the site.

I've noticed that for sale on ebay at the moment are several Miranda items where the seller has obviously ripped off pictures from the Miranda Online site, and made small objects such as keyrings, fridge magnets etc, from them. I have sent a request for the seller to remove them from sale. I don't know how successful this will be, but I'm a bit aggrieved that they have done it without even asking, plus they have used my personally created main page banner as...a ruler. Aside from the fact I could probably claim a copyright infringement, it gives the impression that these are items from the Miranda website. At least one of the photos too, is one I got specific permission to use, and I don't think it looks good for the site if that photo is used 'for profit', and who knows, it could prevent the site getting authorisation to use other photos in future.
Please excuse my letting off steam.... I know its not really a big thing, and that the seller is unlikely to make a lot of money from them, but I think its a bit of a sneaky and underhanded thing to do, and it has really pissed me off.
I'll shut up now and see what happens next...

Clive, do you know if all six of those projects will be or have been released in the US?. Definitely "Phantom" will be high profile in the US, and I expect 'Churchill" will get a release too (Christian Slater and Neve Campbell....), the Poliakoff TV will probably turn up on BBC America, which leaves Wah-Wah, and Bad Blood, which I wouldn't like to guess at yet...

I don't think she was in episode 1. I've got it downloaded somewhere, and will add it to the list of things I have to upload

Thanks Helena for putting the file up. Looks like the episode has spread via over a lot of the BitTorrent sites, so us overseas should hopefully be able to get the whole series

I tried it via Media Player and Real Player using the embedded and standalone players. In all cases I get the same message as Kathleen - 'File may be outdated or inaccurate' (+ a great long string of garbage characters). It doesn't specifically say that the files are only for UK, and I have no problem watching BBC clips from other pages (just watched all the QI clips successfully), so this is really weird. I'll try and play around with some UK public proxies later and see if that makes a difference...

Has anyone outside the UK managed to watch the clips on this page?

Looks like the YouTube and BBC2 clips are unavailable outside of the UK - not having any success seeing them

The USA screening has finally been announced. But its not until September 16th on Hallmark Channel. The 3 hrs will be screened in one hit, as with Channel 4.

Nice that the UK gets it first, still suprised about the rapid New Zealand screening (maybe its because Sam Neill is in it). No sign of it in Australia or US. Hopefully someone who can get Channel 4 will be able to give us a proper review (then I can decide whether its worth springing for the Region 1 DVD or wait for it to turn up in Oz...)

Surprisingly, New Zealand is to be the first country to screen Merlins Apprentice. It is on TV2 on Sunday April 16th at 7:25pm. (do we have any Kiwi's on the board?). Hopefully other countries are not far behind There have been an awful lot of negative reviews of this miniseries, but it seems that most of them are resulting from the fact that part 2 'escaped' onto the internet, and downloaders believed it was the whole series - which would be very confusing, so it may not be as bad as is made out. However, my feeling is that if ever a sequel shouldn't have been made, it is this one. There must be something fundamentally wrong with it if it has gone straight to video in the USA without a broadcast, and its only going to serve to degrade the memory of the brilliance of the original 'Merlin'. For those interested, there are now a few screencaps from part 2 at Miranda Online now www.miranda-richardson.com/mrmerlinsapp-pics.htmlIts going to be interesting to see proper reviews after the New Zealand screening.
