Now how to add him to her collection? she pondered in the darkness of her chamber. He was not like mortal men. Would he be as easy to charm as one of the humans? He seemed quite taken with her, but that didn't mean had yet lost his senses to her spell. The desire to bewitch, dominate, and possess welled up within her. She decided to take the direct approach for now. She would court him and in time he would wish to fulfill all her desires, the perfect mate.
"Lord Idath" Mab acknowledged as she stood proudly within his halls. He gazed at her like she was a vision from a dream. "Mab, Queen of Air and Darkness, Queen of the Old Ways" Idath announced, "To what do I owe the pleasure?" She smiled slowly like a cat as she sauntered over to him.

Raelyn could be drawn to passion, she was fae after all. Faeries were attracted to displays of lust like a moth to the flame. Feelings didn't matter, but raging desire could fill the emptiness inside. Mortals claimed they had no souls, this was at least partially true. It had been far too long since Raelyn had fed herself passion and being here in this land always brought out the strongest of aches. She could disapprove of, but not condemn, Merlin's uncontrollable desires. For he was half-fae, his hunger was the same any fae would feel. Raelyn understood. Mab understood.
That was why she was doing this, she told herself, as her mouth ghosted over Mab's backside and up to her neck. That was why she was willingly engaging in this debauchery with the two of them.
Merlin was surprised, but aroused, as he watched Mab turn and lock lips with Raelyn. This was a new side of her he had yet to see. As Raelyn kissed her neck, Mab purred into her ear words Merlin couldn't hear. "You shouldn't deny yourself for so long. There's no reason to suffer silently." Raelyn made an inarticulate noise in response, suddenly distracted by Merlin rejoining the revelry.

He vanished from her side, kissing her hand goodbye. She was mesmerized, spellbound, and now determined to possess him and add him to her collection.
Queen Mab, Lady of Ravens, appeared in her midnight palace under the earth. Cunning schemes and eccentric plans churned in her thoughts as she made her way through crystal-lit hallways. An unearthly glow lit her skin as she entered her inner crystal sanctum.

Mab slid into the cool water and watched the cream on her body slither away into the water. Merlin moved into the water next to her and gently ran cleaning fingers through her hair, removing the evidence of Idath's rage.
Water dripped from stalactites far above. Rocks grown in many different strange formations sprouted from the ground and from the cool pools of water all around. The air was silent except for the very quiet sound of water flowing between the stones.
Water's whisper stayed quietly echoing in the background as Mab moved further into the pool with Merlin watching her closely. Raelyn joined their bath a few minutes later.

She was dressed in a lovely periwinkle dress that flowed like air and swished around her legs. She glided over to him, seeming to float rather than walk. Where he was all hard angles, she was soft curves. She had always been the center of attention, but there was something special about being with him. She now had double the envy aimed at her. She smiled slightly at this thought. Idath noticed her smiling and asked, "What thoughts please my lady?"

Idath felt a terrifying thrill of dread as he realized his mistake. He had let his anger get the better of him and had manhandled Mab quite roughly. Though it would be impossible to harm her anyway, it was the epitome of rudeness to even touch someone of royal blood without their permission. She was a Queen after all and he had just treated her like a serving wench.
He quickly back off and though she did not strike out at him, the expression on her face was as cool as a serpent and told him he would pay dearly for his impertinence some time in the future. He mentally shivered again.
"Idath, you have clearly forgotten the etiquette of royalty. Although perhaps it is because you didn't start out as King of Anoeth whereas I have always been Queen of the Old Ways. Someone not born to the title often forgets their place." she said with a small mocking sigh.
Idath's face flooded with colour at her mention of his humble beginnings.

Mab bent down and tapped her fingers lightly against Merlin's chest. Electric sparks jumped from her fingertips, zapping Merlin's body. His entire body convulsed and jerked. Merlin woke with a yelp.
"What have you done, Mab?!” Idath accused.
"Given her a heart of stone." Mab answered cryptically, lost in her thoughts as she examined Merlin like a fascinating insect who was still sprawled on the floor.
Seeming to come to some unknown decision, Mab nodded and held out her hand to help him up. Merlin hesitated for a moment wondering if she was going to shock him again, but then boldly grasped her hand and allowed her to pull him to his feet.
But once he was on his feet, she immediately put distance between them. He was not forgiven yet.

*sigh* it takes me awhile sometimes to respond. There's nothing wrong with your post.
Merlin hurled a fancy pie at the wall with a furious cry just as Mab walked through the door. She watched the contents splatter, then ooze down the wall next to her. Raising an eyebrow, she looked down at her son. “Merlin, why do you insist on behaving like a child?”
“Because you treat me like one!” he snarled at her.
“You are not my equal, nor will you ever be, hand-wizard.” she taunted him.
Merlin's grip tightened on the wood of the table in front of him until it splintered. His eyes flashed an eerie silver color as he stood to face his arrogant queen-mother. That was when Mab struck. Merlin crumbled to his knees with a groan as her magic hit him in the gut. “You will learn your place, young one.”

In the old days, Queen Mab had many mortal lovers. None of them captured her attention for very long, but they were fun while it lasted. The problem lay in their tendency to expire after a short period of time. Mortals were simply not made to last, not like the Queen of the Old Ways. But there was one man she met who would never pass away. Arrogant and proud like her as well, who could have guessed their fates would cross, tangle together, and remain trapped, bound in an endless circle for eternity.
When she first met him.....

**Yay new person!
After Idath left, Frik donned his handsome human form and sneaked into the room, hiding in the shadows. A young girl sat playing with her dolls on a worn rug near the empty fireplace. Her reddish curls were pulled back from her face. The girl gave a start of surprise as he stepped out of the shadows. As she took in his appearance, the tension drained out of her. Humans are so easy to charm with a fair face. Frik thought smugly. "Good day, Lady Rose." he said and gave her a flamboyant bow. She giggled. "Who are you?" "I am your knight in shining armour. I've brought a present for you." "Really?" she squeaked adorably. Frik produced his rock. Rock was jet black but despite that it sparkled in the sunlight from the windows. Rose's eye was immediately caught by the pretty glitter. She held out her hand for it. Clearly used to being given whatever she desires. Frik concluded as he put the faery queen's gift in her palm. "I must leave you now. But always keep your gift close at hand. It will help you." And before Rose could blink the charming, young stranger was gone.

"And what pray tell is your brilliant plan to make this Rose girl like magic?" Mab said examining her fingernails with disinterest. "Why shouldn't I just squash the brat instead of worrying about?" Mab glanced over at her former lover, "Don't come running to me with your mistakes Idath."
Mab snorted in derision at the thought that a mere maid could be a threat to her, magic or not. After all these years, Idath still clearly underestimated her.
"My son will be king. End of story."

The full script of the interview is in the Merlin script book, but for some reason they never made the full interview available on video. They only stuck a small part of it into the "Making of Merlin" dvd thing. They obviously have the whole thing somewhere or else mirandarichardson.com couldn't have gotten a hold of that clip. But they never released the whole thing officially. Even now I randomly stumble across new promo pictures of Mab or morgan etc. on the internet. There's so much that was never released and eventually small pieces of it drift onto the internet over the years.
