Hi, i was wondering if i was missing something - and I must've - but I watched the last two Harry Potter films (Deathly Hallows- I think?) and I did not see Miranda Richardson in either of them. Is that possible? did I watch the right films? She had like a 2-second cameo in Deathly Hallows Part 1. When Hermione and Harry are in Bathilda Bagshot's house, Hermione picks up a copy of "The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore" and Rita Skeeter is on the back cover of the book (because Rita is the one who wrote the book). Then Bathilda transforms into the snake and they get attacked. (It was really just Nagini with Polyjuice potion, not actually Bathilda. I'm surprised Polyjuice works with animals. Remember what happened to Hermione and the cat hair?) She did not appear at all in Part 2. I don't think its something you notice unless you're a huge HP-book-fan and love it when they put in small details like that to pay tribute to book-fans.

Black and Purple, how do you get your avatar to do that ? you have to make a .gif icon. There's lots of websites that let you upload pictures and create a gif (a moving image), but you can also do it with a nice image editor if you know how. look at these animated gifs: photobucket.com/images/arwen%20gif/I didn't make them, but you get the idea.

HA i am so happy to be here, SOO glad i found this forum. noon ein my school has even heard of Miranda Richardson ... (sad face) so glad all you do same here. Miranda is not famous in the USA. Although when I went to the UK last year, I asked a lot of people and in general most of the adults knew exactly who she was. I can't speak for the British teenagers though. I think Miranda is more well-known to the older British people. But I was still ecstatic to be in a country where people knew who I was talking about unlike the USA.

im still in high school( sad face ) , i dont want the real world to come any faster than it needs to ahha ahh what it is to be young... well college is something to look forward to (and to dread) at the same time depending how tough your chosen major is. Even though I often feel like I'm losing my mind, I'm still having "fun" at the same time. Everyone should become an engineer.

I am a fan of her mainly in Merlin, Phantom, Prince and me, wonderland, sleepy hollow, .... oh come on, who am i kidding? I love her in EVERTHING!!! Thanks Arwen! I will for sure check those out HAHAH funny story about fan fiction, when i was a kid (around 6th grade) i had to write a small book on any topic (naturally i chose Queen mab) and our teacher told us to really try to put our selves into the project. well, being so young i took it very literally. the story went something along the lines of i was summoned to her and she tried training me to use magic and somehow she turned out to me my mother! HAHA and when i look back on it now i just laugh ... aww that's so cute. Many of us would write a story just like that right now. hehhee I do have a "Mab's Daughter" story on my ff.net profile. Libitine and I write it together. I also started a new fic called "Daughter of Avalon" and it is currently my favorite at the moment. Warning: Daughter of Avalon has lots of sex, blood, incest, and femmeslash. That may or may not appeal to you. www.fanfiction.net/s/7173931/1/Daughter_of_Avalonwww.fanfiction.net/s/5965704/1/Mabs_DaughterSo I love writing stories about Mab having a daughter. Mab's Daughter is cleaner than Daughter of Avalon, but it has its moments too. lol Most mab-fics have sex in them at some point, especially mine. I can't go 5 seconds without demanding that Mab take her clothes off. It might not be really great since you wrote it in 6th grade, but could you share your story with us? We are always looking for new fanfic and new writers of any kind. You could write us a new mab fic of any kind and we would love you for it.

Two beautiful faery women lay tangled together, their bodily motions still sure and unending. Their exhausted mortal lover lay nearby too tired to even watch. The emotions and passion the faeries had drained from Merlin still moved within them back and forth between their bodies. Raelyn's mistress was on top, showing no signs of slowing. Raelyn was hardly sated either. But in perfect moments such as these, interruptions always happen.
Mab felt a tug on the magical thread that connected her to Rose and then Rose's existence vanished from her sight. Raelyn gasped as Mab suddenly raked nails down her skin in frustration. "Idath has stolen her."

Queen Mab, as well as many other faeries, were infamous for stealing children from the mortal world. They liked to steal human children and put changelings in their place. Humans would attempt to protect their children from kidnapping faeries by placing objects near the infant's bed that were known to ward off faeries such as cold iron.
But Queen Mab could not be kept away by silly human talismans from a child she wished to steal. Faeries viewed humans as toys, novelties, and objects of peculiarity. But faeries were also known to tire of their human toys and eventually abandon them back in the human world.
She had decided to steal a human child on a whim and had left a changeling faery infant in its place. Faeries always saw such trades as equivalent exchange despite the fact that the humans had never agreed to the exchange in the first place.
--
Igraine peered at the child in the cradle. Horrified she whispered, "This is not my child."
"Of course it is madam. That's your girl, you named her Morgan remember?" the servant assured her.
The Duke of Cornwall, Igraine's husband, peered down at the baby. "If that is truly Morgan, then I would say she is also Morgan le fay."
