ooooooh, i can imagine her in that role really well!! I really really don't like Julianne Moore in any film-i find her so cold and detach myself from her so easily.I really wish Miranda had had that role, she would have made it more sympathetic i agree. But I always pegged her for Virginia too.....well, she can play anything!! xxxx

To be honest, i can see the physical attraction......i'm so ashamed to admit...he has a lovely speaking voice, and the eyeliner in the Troy trailer is niiiiiiiice...but i can't get over the fact that he's as wooden and...well, wood I guess, to me, it's talent or a certain personality spark that attracts me really to people, so it can't go any further than that! xxxxxx

Extremely brave....
What i find the most shocking is peoples reaction to her afterwards-especially her father basically implying that she 'let it happen'- it must be so hard already..
I would really recommend Heavenly Creatures, Kat, i think you'd like it-it's very powerful.
It also leaves you in a very zombie like state (like you described with the book of Spider....which i definitely have to find now!)

Yeah Heavenly Creatures is amazing.....but since LOTR, i expect people will be hyping any film he directs, so it will be more of a big deal than if Lynne Ramsay directed..... He's doing King Kong first I like your thinking on the academy though... xxxx

Apparently Lynne Ramsay has dropped out of directing The Lovely Bones and Peter Jackson is set to direct it... The plot thickens.... Doesn't seem so low-budget now Hope they still might think of Miranda, but all my instincts are telling me they won't (By the way, i'm reading 'Lucky' at the moment-very good, but i have to keep putting it down because of how graphic it is, and all she went through...amazing.) xxxxxx

Oh this is great!!! is this another weird similarity we have found in Mirandaites?...along with Pop tarts, hate of CZJ, love of Johnny Depp, and now books of inspiration?! yey!!! xx

Yes, i know what you mean, i'm already feeling a little like that about the Narnia films... Everything about that part was made for her, as you said the physical description and the way she could express the imprisoned feeling...and also the photo that Susie took of her 'before she became her mother' in the morning when she didn't know she was watching her. I just picture how easily Miranda slips from mother to woman in other pieces....i think she would make the part so sympathetic too, as what she does with the affair and all is a little tough to understand and sympathise with. xxxxxx

Well, at least we know she has the idea in her head as you've faxed her... what did you put? i wrote Miranda a letter telling her about why she would be great in the part...but i didn't send it xxxxxx

hmmmmmm...Jennifer Connelly is ok, but i've never thought she was more than that...but this news doesn't make me angry like it would with Nicole or CZJ.
Basically, i think i knew Miranda wouldn't get it...but i still hoped...so i'm just a little sad, but not angry.
As for Cate Blanchett, if anyone but Miranda had to play it, i would go for her! although the whole Galadriel thing might have put her off-even though they are completely different parts, the shallow people (of whom there are too many) would draw comparisons.
