Has anyone else ever heard of this woman? I just want to say that if you haven't, you should because she was immensely talented, probably in the same league as Miranda. From her movies such as Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, and Clue, she showed her wicked comedic skills, along with numerous television appearances, AND she could sing almost operatically. On top of that, she was supposed to be a very classy lady. Sadly, she died of Ovarian Cancer in 1999, but she has an amazing legacy behind her. Attachments:

I know! I'm all for stories about misfits, but I would like a story with a point. Plus, I'm just not into all that gothic and emo stuff. Just not my thing. Exactly! And why do you always have to have a favorite? Can't you just be Team Switzerland? Miranda with purle hair and her green silk suit: That . . . .would . . . . be . . . . EPIC!!!

It wasn't. Lots of 'hipster' talk, and more gothic clothing descriptions than the non existent story. From what I remember the plot was always the same: Some 'evil' vampire comes to town and buddies up with someone, the gothic girl and her vampire boyfriend must stop them, there is a lot of gothic stuff and making out in between and at the end they save the day.
I love Hunger Games so much!! There are no words to describe my love for it. I just hope they don't eff it up by doing some whole "Team Peeta" and "Team Gale" thing like they did with Twilight.
You know, I never made the connection between Effie Trinket and Rita Skeeter before but now I totally see it! Miranda would've been PERFECT as Effie, since we all know she can brilliantly play such bizzare characters (Though she could play Prim and be brilliant at it). But I won't underestimate Elizabeth Banks playing her, she might do a fantastic job.

Don't forget "Is that how you say it in Spanish? Where's the f-ing baby?" and "It's tiny, tiny tiny . . ."
Of course I enjoy referencing squirells with her line from Amy and Amiability: "Yes. Bastards. I hate them with their long tails and THEIR STUPID TWITCHY NOSES!" xD

Twilight parodies are among the best. Never seen Vampires Suck, but a friend of mine did and gave me the details. It sounds hilarious. Me and my nephew sort of have our own Twilight parody, but you'd only get it if you've seen the movie Napoleon Dynamite. Oh, and the Volturi are just awesome. Especially Jane.

I liked them showing her as a teenager a little bit too. One thing that kind of bugs me out about it thought is through her child years he's like her brother, and then when she grows up, he's her soul mate? Creepy. There were some really great parts about the newest movie though. I loved the wedding speeches, especially Charlie's. They were hilarious. Alice and Rosalie were great too, especially Rosalie, who supported Bella through and through. You're right, vampires don't sparkle, they shrivel up and die.

I actually had to give credit to the makeup people for making her look that thin, but the part where she was drinking blood and it make her teeth red . . . I gagged a little at that. But yes, the atmosphere was too tense for my liking.
I agree with the weirdness of Jacob imprinting on baby Renesmee. It was borderline pedophilic in my opinion.
Understandable not remembering them, as Bella ditches them about a third into the book for a certain sparkling fairy-er vampire (I really hated the sparkling concept).

You know, I thought so too. She tried too hard to give that dream happy ending for Bella and Edward. I thought the whole baby eating her inside out things was creepy (my dad compared it to the movie Alien xD) I absolutley hate the names Renesmee, and towards the end, there was hardly any real action and way too many vampires with funky names to keep track of. Oh, and just for the heck of it, I'm rereading the first book, and I never realized how tedious it was. Seriously, chapters 7-13 are all just one week describing all her classes and every conversation with Edward.

There are some hilarious ones. Some of the funniest ones involve Harry Potter, if that helps. By any chance have you read The Hunger Games? It involves a love triangle too, but it is much more action packed and Katniss Everdeen is a much superior protagonist to Bella Swan. At least in my opinion. Plus I think Suzanne Collins is a better writer than Stephenie Meyer.

Isn't it funny? Sad, but true. There are like a ton of hilarious Twilight photos, but that was probably my personal favorite. OH, and don't forget slightly scared, which consists of just breathing healthy. xD

Okay, I'll check them out. She was fourteen? That IS impressive.
I really hate it when author's just write to make money. My mom reads this series by Janet Evanovich about a bounty hunter, and apparently she publishes them too quickly and they just keep getting worse and worse. That's also what Vampire Kisses feels like to me. Like some really bad fanfics just slapped together to make money. Good thing there are the authors out there who don't.

Better than Twilight? That IS saying something. What exactly are the Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books about involving vampires. I'm always up for new good reads.
Angel, I didn't see it in a video, but I found a written interview about a movie (don't remember which, but it was fairly recent) and she mentioned that she did. A quicker way to find it is by typing both 'Miranda Richardson' and 'Twilight' in the search engine and you should find it (I had to look it up in order to get a second source, since I was so shocked) Oh and regarding Kristen Stewart, if you want a laugh, look up 'the moods of Emma Watson and Kristen Stewart and you'll find this hilarious picture making fun of Stewarts lack of facial expresssions.

I know. Twilight's okay, but give me plain old Dracula over Edward any day.
And if you want a really bad vampire series, read Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber. No offense, if anyone here may like it, but I thought it was horrible. The protagonist was even more passive than Bella, the writing was too simplistic, the dialogue was laughable, and there was virtually no real plot whatsoever. At least the vampires didn't sparkle.
As for Miranda liking it . . . well, I stumbled across an interview where she said she did so, yeah, I know, a bit shocking. But hey, I guess everyone has their guilty pleasures.
Oh and I completely agree with their being nothing real special about Stephenie Meyer's work. Vampire stories are a dime a dozen, especially today. And it pales when compared to say . . . True Blood, Interview with a Vampire, or even Vampire Diaries.
