WELL, WASn;t FRINK *her kind* as well. an in the kind of Fairy?... That would mean he can;t lie either.. :S
*shall edit later*
EDIT: (ok, this one was pretty coherent... but here's the "translation," anyway)
Well, wasn't Frik "her kind" as well, as in the kind of the Fairy?... That would mean he can't lie either...

Well, I've never found Nimue too interesting a character, but she didn't annoy me either (probably the one and only character to annoy me in "Merlin" was Uther...).

but it is STILL fantastic!! Fantastic, amazing, fabulous, magical… you name it! But of course, Tosca, I would never belive that! At least, I didn’t imagine hearing Mab in my head when I listened to this song – as if that usually happened, no, no way, no… *g*

I know! I know! *jumps up and down in Hermione-ish way* "Alway look on the bright side of life ..." *whistles* LOOLLL!!! That would be something! Seriously now, I'd never thought of it before... Hm, who knows? Metal might just be it.

Nimue, or whatever she is spelled like, ... what's all the worrying about her face? She was goddamn lucky to still have both eyes, eyebrows and lips completely intact. I don't think she looked disfigured, and why on earth is she, too, so fixed on her appearance? I wouldn't care for other people if I had the possibility to actually BE with my love instead of waiting for him, and waiting, and waiting. *sigh* Well, Nimue wasn't perfect either - why wouldn't she feel that way? I think you've answered yourself that already - frustration. It's true that Nimue is supposed to be all good and nice, but that doesn't mean she can't feel the same way as any other human being who got their faces scarred - even a permanent scratch can affect some, let alone having half your face burned, as was her case. So she pushes even Merlin away, maybe out of the desire of not letting him tie himself to a person looking like her and regret it later, even unconsciously (yes, it wasn't something that unusual to have a scar or two in that period, but that doesn't make it any easier, I suppose.). EDIT: P.S.: Of course Mab's the best!!!

Good points you made there, iovne! Here are some thoughts on just part of it – the last, to be more exact. (why did I start with the ending? Weird girl I am… ) Yes, actually I did find the whole Morgan/Frik scene very touching – they’d found some common ground there (Frik was also a master of disguise) and those last words were more like a metaphor to me. And quite on the contrary, beauty – the superficial beauty you were talking about – did not matter anymore. He told her she was beautiful beyond words when the illusion of her beauty had completely vanished, and asked her almost insecurely whether she thought he was still handsome – in her eyes, he was. And I agree that Morgan was self-centered, so in the end her last words were very much like her, really.
