LOL, how so? I found it rather nice (and some scenes there did crack me up...).

And lololol at the end, omg. I think I'd have the same reaction as that guy *g* Oh, the ending totally cracked me up! It was brilliant, and unexpected! Loved it. And the fact that there were some loose ends could only give us more hope to a second series

OK. Random fact.
I don’t know if it’s already been mentioned before, but there was this other Merlin film shot at the same time as Merlin. It’s called “Merlin – the Magic Begins”, and the random fact is that Paul Curran was in it as well. He played Kay in this small movie, which was shot in Peebles, Scotland, then travelled to Wales to play Arthur.

and is there anyone else who felt a Mab/Vortigern sex scene was needed? Just one? I mean... yes, just one?! Seriously now, there could have been more Mab scenes in general (i.e. the one which got cut, at the beginning of the film). Other than that, I guess the mystery of the ring's origins remains, although red does symbolize power, blood, fire (and love, why not?)... So yay for the ring

Oh, well, it's a very interesting observation anyway - who knows what the film-makers had in mind?
As for the ring, I think it's only there as a symbol of her power etc., especially since technically Idath didn't really exist until the novelisation. It's still a gorgeous ring. ))

I've never really given it much thought, but I think it's probably a coincidence (I somehow thought the tree was there just to avoid having an empty background?). Is there any mention of it in the books, perhaps? On the other hand, it's always good to have yet another thing for the fans to dwell on.

Well, it may be a rather dark comedy with dry humour, but I did enjoy it immensely, and it did make me laugh a lot! The parts with Miranda, at least, were pure gold - she does steal the show, as always!

LOL I just watched that episode where she throws the phone.. "Your head broke my phone." Ah, that was absolutely priceless!!! I laughed my heart out at that. Come to think of it, it might have been the best part in the whole series (apart from the lines in the end of it, which also cracked me up).

Yes, it is Miranda's voice The only voice which had to be done technically was the one for the Lady of the Lake, but not Mab.

Err.. I didn't get... Shall repl to that,... EDIT: That was supposed to be "Err, I didn't get it.. Shall reply to that later" (and I meant "edit"xd) OK, here it goes. Frik was indeed a gnome, but that would make him part of the Fairy Folk. But when did he lie exactly?... As far as I know, what he said to Morgan was "You'll make a wonderful pupil for the fantastic things I can teach you." He never said he *would* teach her anything, only that he had the ability to, so where's the lie? Edit: *has gone through the book as well* Or the writer simply contradicted himself - I understand it wouldn't exactly be a first?
