LOL, Tosca, methinks you and me must continue to agree to wildly differ on that point.
Hmmm, I have noticed the "twitch" before, yes. I don't know quite what it signifies, though. I have little doubt that in other circumstances she would be wishing him anything other than ill, but it didn't seem to be the purpose of the expression in this case.
*muses* Hmm, perhaps it's almost a sort of resignation? She knows how stubborn he is, perhaps she knows he won't accept the crystal she's giving him, and that he's probably going to die because of it. Perhaps even as she's giving it to him, she knows it's fairly futile?
I shall rewatch that scene again at some point in the near future, but I'm technically meant to be working on some History at the moment... *looks sheepish*... so I should probably try and get that out of the way first.

There’s not much fun in agreement, but as far as I know, this was never a “pwning” contest (although, obvz., if it did come down to it, I’d prefer Mab/Miranda anytime/anywhere ). And I don’t think Tarja looks very much like Mab, but whatever resemblance there might be, it’s what made me like her to begin with. As for that scene - *pats Tosca for the helpful suggestion* - well, she certainly didn’t wish him ill, not then, at least – that’s the whole point why she was there: to help him, to give him something to protect him. She tried to smile there, but, yes, she knew it was all useless already, because he just couldn’t let himself believe in her. (Argh! On the other hand, if anything had gone differently, it would have been difficult to stick to the storyline.)

Random trivia: There's a song by Delain which includes a clip of Mab speaking. I was all "ZOMG!" when I heard it today. Speaking of songs, there appears to be a "Merlin" inspired song, by Nightscape. Maybe you all know it already, but I've just stumbled across it. Also, Mab seems to have been included in the arthurian legends ever since the movie... *chuckle* And here's the link: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vMOMBv_y3BU

Can't say that I'm very musically impressed with it, but it sure is a lot of fun!

Well, tis... nice to see a song based on the film, admittedly, it might have been nice if the song had been better- even with the Merlin references, these lyrics almost matched Rhapsody of Fire for sheer cheesinees.

is there any miranda movies with a kiss scene? The movies I have seen her in she was playing the evil witch stepmother role so there was never any romance.

Oh wow, dear, I assume the movies you have scene haven't much exceeded the PG range then? Try this on for size: www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8c1TpLWPRg

Well Sleepy Hollow exceeds PG, but the kiss in that movie was more of a "I want to bite your mouth off miranda!" than actual romance.
omg, i just finished watching it, that was so sad.

LOL. Yes, I know but it is hardly hard-core R, right? Well comparitively that movie isn't a real tear-jerker (but I, being a movie-buff have seen some sad ones) but it does have its moments. Lets see . . . you say you are interrested in Miranda romance, eh? Well, not to get off topic, but might you start a thread in the film section? That would be much apprieciated by our mods I bet.
