Mab/Merlin Story we all add to

I thought I would start a new one seeing as the other I completely lost track and kinda stopped. So here is a new one, so people can add to both if they wish. I started it with Merlin coming to the land of magic. Kept the first script bit kind of the same. But Only for some bits:)to make it more real and get in the mood. So enjoy and add have fun:Dxxx

Mab was waiting for him by the temple doors, her eyes fixed to the winding river as if he were to appear any moment.
A smile spread across her face as the boat pulled up and Frik transformed from one of his many masks into himself again.
Mab lifted her skirt stepping carefully down each stone step as to not fall. Once she reached the bottom Merlin was standing waiting for her as she had hoped.
She tilted her head looking at him as Frik was just about to introduce him for her. "Majesty may I present..." he began but was cut off by Mab.
"Merlin...Merlin. Do you know who I am?" she asked a smile playing across her face.
"Queen Mab" he replied carefully. Mab nodded her head "yes...you have grown strong and true. I did a good job when I created you" she smiled to herself.
Mab raised her arms and her robes rose like black wings around her.
"This is Merlin, who has come to save us, to bring our people back to the old ways" she called out to all the fairies in a voice which echoed off the walls.

As they reached the inside of the temple Mab sat down on her throne as Frik began the lesson. Mab looked awfully bored tapping her nails on her throne to show her impatience at the whole procedure.

Suddenly she got up grabbing a goblet of water with dead flowers floating on it. Which Frik had just used to demonstrate hand magic to Merlin and threw the contents into the air.
But to Merlin's amazement it froze in time, he watched as Frik looked nervously at the water. As Mab appeared here and there around him in speeds on light.

"Oh get on with it" she hissed and slammed the goblet face down onto a pile of books.
Frik spat out the water and the flowers remained on his old school hat.
"Yes Madame, any questions?" he smiled confidently removing his glasses. But after a sharp look from Mab lost his smile and looked more worried then confident.

Later that night Merlin was studying hard, a piece of sharpened wood in his hand with ink on the end of it. He stared at the books and scratched his head. Mab walked in and peered over his shoulder "studying hard I see" she smiled happily. He nodded and turned his head towards her "yes...trying anyway" he shrugged.

Mab sighed looking at him then narrowed her eyes at the table making a plate of food appear "it will keep your strength up" she smiled.
Merlin looked at the food almost in half a mind to if it was real or not. She smiled and urged him to eat, so he did. He gently pushed his book to one side picking up a cooked sausage in his hands.

Mab watched him happily and sighed "you need to study" she muttered simply as he ate.
Merlin nodded brushing off his hands "why do I need to study so hard?" he yawned.
Mab smiled and sat down on her throne "if you don't study how will you become the most powerful wizard of them all" she smirked.

Merlin stared at her and gave a short laugh "me, no you have the wrong person for that job" he scoffed. Mab shook her head "I created you and you will be the most powerful wizard".
Merlin stared at her now taking her more seriously as he picked up a bit of bread "how do you know that?" he asked in wonder.

"Because I know talent when I see it, you are like a flower who has yet to bloom. Soon you will use your magic to bring our people back to the old ways" she grinned.
"But why?" Merlin sighed deeply picking at the bread with his fingers.

Mab cocked her head to one side like a bird of prey. "Well because if you do not, then my people and I will simply wither away." she stated simply, placing one hand on his shoulder. "Do you want to be a wizard?" she asked simply. Not that it really matters what you want. she thought. You will use your magic whether you like it or not. Mab smiled warmly at him as he continued to pick away at his meal.

Mab smiled and then faded away so he was alone again. He put the bread down pulling the book towards him slowly. He began to read through it as if what Mab said gave him more energy. Mab watched him through her crystals and smirked "I knew we could count on you Merlin" she smiled. Frik looked over her shoulder "are you sure about that Madame, I mean he is kind of..." he began and shrugged. Mab stared at him "well?" she hissed losing her patience.
"Weak...and he doesn't seem to want to be a wizard he even said to me he didn't like magic" he rambled. At those few words 'doesn't like magic' she bolted her head round in fury staring at him. "What?" she growled.

[Libitine]

"Well, Madame, it is rather shocking isn't it?" Frik said shakily. He got no reply from Mab and cringed at whatever her outburst might be. His Queen stood so very still, that not a gem on her dared to twinkle. "I do not care whether or not he is willing! I will make him like it! I have work for him to do." Mab hissed in her fury. She stood over him like a wildcat does over its prey. "Madame, it is a disappointment, is it not?" Frik said, desperate to get on Mab's good side. "Disappointment?" Mab echoed. "It is a great disappointment, Frik, and it is certainly not one I am beginning to tolerate." Frik shuddered at the anger in her voice. "What are we going to do, Madame?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. "You," Mab corrected impatiently. "will bring him to me."

"Erm yes Madame but...he is studying now would it be best to wait till later I mean..." he began quickly but Mab soon cut him off. "No! Bring him now I want to talk to him. I wont have a song of mine saying he dislikes magic. He is our only hoep Frik!" she pointed a long pale finger at him. "So bring him here now!" she demanded. Frik bowed his head nervously "yes Madame", with that his scurried off into the room where Merlin was studying.
"Oh master Merlin, Madame has requested to see you at once" he said slowly and calmly.
Merlin looked up "but I though I had to study" Merlin pointed out.
"Now!" Frik urged desperately trying to almost shove Merlin out of the open door.

Mab could barely contain herself as she watched Merlin enter the room with Frik. How dare you? she thought. Without you, I do not exist!
"Merlin," Mab began, shaking out of anger. "Frik has informed me that you are unhappy with your studies. Is this true?"
She felt she should take a more understanding approach, for lack of better words, so Merlin was not frightened away. Even still- Mab doubted she was in the mood to keep up appearances.

Merlin stared at her slowly and twisted his fingers nervously about each other "it is just I don't think I am cut out to be a wizard" he shrugged. Mab rose her hand to silence him as she walked closer, her robes floating as if she was walking on air. "Not cut out!" she smirked angrily "you are my son, you have magic running through your veins. Will power in your mind...and skill" she muttered sternly.

"You can be a great wizard the most powerful wizard of them all. And you want to give that all up?" she tilted her head to the side allowing her dark raven hair to follow it.
"No...not exactly" he stuttered. Mab stared at him "then what exactly is it you are saying Merlin?" she whispered sternly.
Frik looked at Merlin then walked forward "I think what Master Merlin is trying to say...is...is that he needs a little more practice and time to learn the ropes" Frik smiled confidentally.

Mab stared at him with narrow eyes then looked directly at Merlin "is that what you think Merlin?" she asked in her deep harsh voice.
Merlin nodded quickly as is he knew saying any other then that would get him into trouble same way or another.

Mab's angered breathing relaxed as she regarded Merlin with narrow eyes. The boy was standing there fiddling with his fingers like an idiot, yet Mab had very intention of placing her future in his hands. Mab placed her hands gently on her hips. "I will grant you more time and more relaxed lessons." she said. "But do not go thinking you are getting off easy, Merlin. You will fulfill your destiny one way or another." Mab relaxed a bit, letting her hands fall down to her sides.

Merlin was suddenly rushed out of the room by frik and Mab was left alone again. Moments later she felt a cold boney hand around her waist. She sighed deeply and heavily as one of the boney fingers tapped on the hard cage of her corset. "Queen Mab" the voice whispered huskily. "What a pleasant surprise" he added his face finally coming into view. His face was made of bone, you could call him a skeleton but it was almost like a real man standing there. It had the more shapely features which included dark red eyes that stared into the emptyness of the room.
Mab didn't move or say a word as his boney fingures moved over her shoulders. "What do you want?" she hissed at him angrily. "I came to see how things were going on down here, wont you even give your father a warm welcome" he grinned to himself. Mab frowned pulling away.

"You choose your moments don't you! You have been dead for a hundreds of years yet choose to show up every few hundred to aunt me" she snapped. He stared at her and smiled "not haunting my dear, just checking...your mother always said you'd grow up to be strong. I never believed her, even though you used to smash down toy castles...but I never thought you'd end up a ruler of any kind" he scoffed.

Mab rolled her eyes. "Get out of here, you Hessian!" she hissed. "You are not welcome here." Mab looked into the eye sockets of the skull, trying to remember what the flesh looked like.

He stared at her and then walked closer pulling her towards him so she looked into his face.
"You know what you have become mab, your quest for the old ways is never going to win. You may be strong, but you wont win!" he growled.
"Why do you care anyway?" she shouted and removed herself from his grip. "I thought you didn't want me anymore as your daughter, I remember you saying as much!" she hissed.

He stared at her and laughed "that was because I was angry and you wanted to get under my skin!" he muttered sternly.
Mab shrugged "I may have broke my toys when I was a child, but you are the only monster I see here. Men don't rule the earth and one day there will be a Queen on the throne of Camelot...with no King by her side!" she said simply.

[Libitine]

Mab stared up at him with a look of such hate. "I am not in the mood to play 'Happy Family' with you, father. I have things of my own to tend to without you bothering me." She turned her back to him and focused her attention on her crystals. "Run along now. I am sure that Vivian and her fish would love to see you."

"Your sister has more sense then you do!" he scolded. "She knows how to respect her father, unlike you Mab who wont listen to a word I say to you" he shouted angrily.
Mab was really started to lose it now, she was so close to just throwing him into the wall. But knew he would only do the same back.

"Get out old man" she hissed her tone was harsh and bitter, sounding as if he didn't do as she said she would erupt at any moment.
But her father stayed still and walked towards her gently putting his hand to her hair twisting his boney fingers in it. "You know I didn't kill her Mab so stop acting like a victim...!" he suddenly muttered so simply as if it was nothing.
"Your mother fell down those stairs and I couldn't save her" he frowned. Mab felt a shiver go down her spine and frowned deeply "liar!".

[Libitine]

Their faces were so close, that Mab could smell Death on his bones. "I am tired of your excuses." She hissed. "The end justifies the means, my darling." he whispered with a malevolent smile on his skeletal face.
Mab barely raised her chin, but that tiny gesture was enough to propel him against the wall. She seemed to stand taller in her victory. "Why do you make me do this to you?" she said with a shrug and then changed her tone entirely. "Maybe next time you will leave when told, Father." she said, spitting out his name as if it had bad taste.

He stared at her and set her flying into the other wall "why do you make me do this" he hissed. She felt blood in her mouth and then him coming up behind her.
"Look at you lip" he sighed and brushed the blood away. Mab closed her eyes as the pain filled her. He gently stroked her hair almost mockingly as she had no way out.

He gently turned her around and her face turned as if not wanting to catch the light.
He looked at her bloody lip sighing deeply, and his hands gently rested at her waist so she didn't try to move away from his gaze.
"Why do you make me do this Mab, why do you make me lash out at you" he shouted at her.

Mab stared at him as if she were a child getting yelled at for something she didn't mean to do.
He frowned at her pulling her away from the wall "you didn't think just because we are blood I would let you push me around and not respond back did you!".

Mab didn't know what to say or how to reply, she was scared and silent, by this point. He stared at her then walked to the middle of the room where he made a chair appear. The chair was made of all bones and he didn't hesitate to take a seat upon it.
"Fine we will just stay here all day then, and look across this room at one another till you speak to me like a grown up" he muttered folding his arms across his boney chest.
