Yeah, people keep talking about the Kill Bill things to me too. Don't think I'll watch them though. Not a big fan of Uma Thurman you see.
Can't wait for Tom and Viv to arrive! I ordered it from Amazon and it should be here soon! ;D ;D ;D

Oh, i love love love Uma Thurman....i really recommend 'Tape'-it's a three-hander, filmed with a hand held camera and just in one room. It's an amazing experience-so intense, and Uma is just astounding in it.She delivers this speech-won't say what about, as it would ruin it, but it just sticks knives in to your heart-my god, i was worn out after i'd watched that film-you need a lot of strength for it. Ethan Hawke and Robert Sean Leonard are the other two. But yeah, bit scared of the violence in the Kill Bill movies, but will see them for Uma at some point ahhhh, lucky you Moog, Tom and Viv for the first time another amazing experience-i'm so jealous Enjoy it babe! xxxxxxx

I have never seen Tape, and am not generally fond of Uma Thurman, except when she played Poison Ivy in one of the Batman movies. I couldn't stand it though, when she held the snakes, yuck. I can't watch snakes on the telly or in real life without feeling a cold chill run down my spine, hehehe. I am deathly afraid of them, and would not ever touch one, eeeew.

Ah, Lucetta, how can you say that! My cousin and her boyfriend have 2 redtail boas, and he was holding both of them and showed them to me when I was in my car, and I almost died of a heart attack!!!!!! I started screaming bloody murder, lol. I am soooo afraid of them, ugh, I just get cold shivers down my spine thinking of them. My cousin loves them though, and I don't know why. I saw a snake at Folsom Lake(a lake in northern California), and I was so scared, I couln't move, and all I could do was scream, lol. I have never been more scared in my entire life! I watched part of that movie Anaconda, and had to stop, hehehe. All the power to those of you who love them though! I am eccentric in my own way too. I love lions and tigers! I got to pet a dolphin at a theme park once, and was tempted to jump in the water to swim with them, hehehe. They were so beautiful!

Ick, slimy and slithery creatures, ugh, hehehe. I normally go for death-defying things, but snakes are just too much for me. I like taking chances, lol. I ride ALL of the upside-down rides, love rollercoasters, the faster the better. I also want to go skydiving! I want the total exhileration of really flying! I go on scary waterslides too, hehehe! ;D Life is too short not to have fun!

I would love to see Miranda on the stage, playing The Queen Clytemnestre in Jean Giraudoux's Electre. Giraudoux gave a new life to the fabulous character of Clytemnestre in his play. Weak but touching. I think that Miranda would be perfect in this role. Giraudoux is one of my favorite theatrical writers.
Uma Thruman? I liked her in 'The Dangerous Liaisons', but I'm not fond of her.

I have the dream of see her in the stage too! My teacher of History of Theater saw her in a play in London (I don't know what was)!! I know she doesn't like the classics very much, but I would love see her as Medea!

Where did you read that she doesn't like playing in classics??? I like playing classics, but it depends wich ones. I rather know the french theatre because I study it (I'm doing my masters in literature and baroque music on the stage). You're right, she would be a perfect Medea!!!! I like tragic monsters, I think that Miranda would play that perfectly. Wich Medea? The Euripide's one? It's my favorite, though I like the Anouilh's one too. I don't like the Corneille's one. Anyway, I don't like Corneille very much.... Where do you study theatre history? At school? xxx

I don't know where I read that, but is was in one of her interviews... Yes, I was talking about the Euripide's Medea. It's my favorite too. I study the classics in school because I'm in a school of theatre, here in Portugal. You like the classics, so you must knew the Trojan Women, by Euripides too. I've played Hecuba in December. But there is still hope that one day Miranda could be Medea! P.S I don't like Corneille too!

Great! I study drama too, in tha Drama School of Toulon (we say Conservatoire in France) but I will try to enrol the Drama School of Marseille is september because it's close my university. Oh yes, I love Hecube in Euripide. I've seen it in Marseille last year. It's a very touching character. My favorite tragic monsters are Phaedra (I love the Racine's one), Clytemnestre, Athalia, Hecube, Medea and Jocaste. Have you ever read Jean Giraudoux? He rewrote greek or german myths to make sorts of modern tragedies (with lots of traditional elements however) with lots of humour, lots of emotion and poetry. He's my fav writer. You should read 'La guerre de Troie n'aura pas lieu' (I'm not sure about the official translation, I would say 'Troy war won't happen'), it's very clever and very funny.
