ohhhhhhhhh noooooooooooo, is that official?!!! Oh well, i like Tilda Swinton, i guess. As to The Hours, yes i know what you mean Kat, i've rarely seen someone so right in a part as Miranda in that. But i think she would have also shined as any of the leads, and if she specifically wanted them i guess she should have them!! so, i guess i'm a little undecided too! It makes me sad that if they made 'Tom and Viv' now, there's just no way she'd get Viv.....it would go to Nicole Kidman or someone like that. And i don't mean because she's older, i think people have become blinded by this younger generation of crap xxxxxxxxxxx

Tilda Swinton is a tremendous actress, and it really is sticking two fingers up to all those who thought Miranda was too old, because Tilda is 43. I think she will be tremendous, possibly as good as anyone, except Miranda and Cate Blanchett.

I am pissed off it didn't go to Miranda - but we never know if she was offered it or not, at the end of the day, it is technically another Queen role, and if she doesn't want them, she won't go for them will she. Also she might have already had filming commitments.

What else has Tilda been in? The only thing I have seen her in is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. One of the most hilarious scenes in that movie is the girl who portrays Lucy when she says,"I'm Lucy", hehehehe. The poor girl, she needed braces and orthodontic surgery. As a child under 10, I had a crush on the boy who played Peter, lol! ;D Anyone else feel the same?

No Peter never really did it for me I'm afraid . I was addicted to the show though, me and my brothers used to watch them all repeatedly.

;D You all were just too young to appreciate him, hehehehe(just kidding). My favourite book of C.S. Lewis is The Horse and His Boy. I liked the character of Shasta, the adventurous type. Very good books, all of them. The Magician's Nephew was also very entertaining, especially the pools that would transport you to different worlds.

I have to say that I haven't read any of the Narnia books. Actually that's a lie, I believe I got through the whole of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
As for Tilda Swinton, she was in the filmed version of Orlando, plus she was recently in Adaptation. I have hardly seen any of her films, but IMDB should help you out.

I watched one of Quentin Tarantino's films in one of my screenwriting classes. It was Pulp Fiction. It was alright, but it wasn't as good as everyone made it out to be. I would love to go to the Cannes Film Festival. Has anyone seen Kill Bill or the sequel?

Aw I love Pulp Fiction, I prefer Jackie Brown though.
As for Kill Bill, I have seen vol. 1 and I have vol. 2 and am waiting to see it. Compared to Tarantino's other films I didn't like it. As a film, it stands up alright, but I think he set such high standards, and he had a certain way about him, the dialogue, and that was lacking in Kill Bill 1.
