Hey all! I'm new here too! My first Miranda movie was Phantom, so I'm a really really new fan. I do think she is amazing and I think it's great that this message board exists. I've read through some of the posts and you all seem to be pretty cool so I thought I'd introduce myself. ~~ Andréa

Hi!! Nice to meet you too!! I'm from America. I was born in Arizona, but I've lived in New York, Oregon, and Illinois, and now, unfortunately, I live in Florida. The only good thing about living here is that Disney World is only 45 minutes away from my house!! Other Miranda films, well I've seen Snow White, The Prince and Me, Harry Potter, and Chicken Run. Yeah I know, not many. But my goal this summer, aside from doing well on the SAT and ACT, is to see all of her movies. She's so gorgeous and she's an amazing actress!!

Ummm. I guess out of the few movies i've seen my favorite is probably Snow White, I know i'm a loser. I just love that movie, I thought she did such a good job in it. I just read back on another post and I realized that you saw Miranda in person. That is sooooo not fair!! I'd do anything to meet her, she's soo awesome!! I can't wait for Spinning into Butter to come out, it looks like such a good movie. Oh and Wah Wah, if it comes here.

Yeah twice in person now, but still not properly met her...it keeps the mystique going ;D You are not a loser for loving Snow White, it's fabulous!! Well, she is anyway...I can't say I'm keen on the rest of the cast or the direction...but I watch it over and over just for Elspeth. She is so gloriously beautiful in that, too. Spinning Into Butter does look fab. And I'm especially excited about 'Paris Je Taime'...such an amazing cast... xxxxxxxxxx

welcome Gipsyfan! Yep, I love Snow White too, Miranda's the best part in the movie. The movie made the character of the evil Queen deeper. It was a good idea to make her a ugly woman who became a beauty. My name is Camille, I'm 25 and I come from South of France. My fav movies with Miranda are Spider (definitively first), the Hours, Merlin, HP, Snow White and maybe The Empire the Sun. I love Blackadder too. I love Theatre, literature, arts, baroque music (especially the italian and german ones) England (I love you England, love you, love you, love you), France (who did say that french people were patriotic ), Italia (Aaaahhh Venice), Germany (and german people), talking about me (as you see. Joking), and....... MIRANDAAAAA. Welcome to you, and to Godessqueen and Helen (yes I'm late. So? )

Wh-wha -wait. You like German people? I suppose you're one of very few. people usually don't like us, they think we're rude (we are), indifferent (we act as if) and have great big sticks up our asses (some of us have). well, thanks for liking us!
And welcome to all the newbies!

And welcome to all the newbies! yep dearie, I love german people. The german people I've met (quite a lot) were open-minded and respectuous in a same time, cheerful and sharing. That's why I'm surprised when you tell me the rumours abt them. I used to be an erasmus student so I met lots of forein student, and the german were the only ones to move around the different groups, to chat and share with all the students of all nationalities. The others students rather stayed with people of their own nationality, and I found that very sad. Moreover they're often more ecologist, more respectful than we are. And there is something I admire a lot: They assume perfectly what they did during the war, (and even the young generation is affraid of being patriotic now, what is not necessarly good by the way), unfortunately we cannot say the same for every countries in the world, which did as bad as them (Japan, and even France with this fucking Regime de Vichy and Marechal Pétain. Lots of french have been collaborating but the only think we remember nowaday is the french resitance. Though, they were very few.) Sorry for this out of topic, but it's someting which drives me mad. So, the german modern generation can be very proud of its attitude. by the way, I've been few days in Kronberg, near Franckfort when I was playing in a symphonic orchestra. I loved the country. And they are very good musicians, I felt ashamed to play with them.

True- when I was in Germany, all the people were really friendly and nice that I saw. I really liked it there! It helped that we visited a pretty glowy light-up building (The Sony Centre in Berlin). Nothing makes me feel warmly towards a place like big glowy things.
