;DI never put one up so i am now, all erik antoinette fans please add hehe:D Mab one is doing well:)see if we can beat it lol.
Antoinette was on stage teaching the young ballet girls, she was
gesturing to them. Holding her balck and gold cane in one hand as she was demonstrating what to do.
Erik was standing in box five, watching from the shadows as she did this. His mask half covered and half shown by the bright stage lights.
"Those ballet rats don't deserve a teacher like her" he thought to himself.
"She is too attached to them" he sighed and looked out towards where she was standing.
Antoinette looked up for a second and saw him, quickly her eyes darted back. Did she really see him there? Or was it just her imagination playing tricks on her.
Erik hid behind the wall and walked towards the catacombs, Christine was gone now. The opera house had been rebuilt, his true feelings started to flower. He started to realise he loved her, Antoinette was the woman he craved more then anything.
And he always got what he wanted!

I felt the need to revive, even though I know there's no possible way of catching up to the Mab story  Returning to her room, later that night, Antoinette found a black rose set on her bed pillow, tied in a red ribbon. She picked it up carefully, her figners clutching just around the thorns. Her eyes cloudy with lacking rest from the past few months, moved along to her mirror, standing up agianst the wall. What looked back at her was only her eflection. Elegant, and grand as it was, she approached it with slight fear. He watched her approach, touching the two way glass with his hand. How could he have missed her beauty before? But he saw her fear, and with each step she took towards him, he took a step back, until he was once again confined in the darkness. She opened the two way glass as if it were a door. Nothing was there. |

She stepped a few bits closer until she was closer, Erik looked at her knowing he should just let her see him.
Antoinette smiled at him, she was not fearful "thankyou for the rose...it is beautiful" she beamed smelling it slowly.
"It is only what you are, only you are much more" he grinned gently.
Erik smiled walking into the catacombs with her "I mean to speak to you".

"Speak to me?" Madame Giry followed him. She was hesitant when they got to the steps, knowing there were traps beyond a point. But she continued non the less.
"About what?"
He stepped into the sail boat, still arched at the dock. He offered her a hand. Lifting the hem of her dress just over her heel, Antoinette stepped in after him. he did not bother speak as he rowed them into the dark confines of the opera house cellers. The candles were the only light.

"I wont just stay here if you wont even speak to me Erik. You gave me this rose because you felt something" she whispered gently stroking the ribbon of the rose.
Erik nodded "I did...I do feel something, but what does it matter" he sighed deeply looking away from her slowly.
"It matters because maybe I would feel the same way" she replied gently.

Erik raised a brow. He looked at her.
"It's been many years, Madame. You have taken great care of me. And the graditude I've shown you," He bowed his head as if shamed. "I've become a killer."
Antoinette shook her head, appraoching him with soft steps.
"You did things you thought you had to do. I trust you, Erik. I always have. Now, what must you speak to me about? These feelings you've mentioned?"
A piece of her hoped that it could be true, that he could love her as she'd once loved him. And she had, but he would never know.

He looked back round towards her "oh Madame I have had these feelings for too long now".
Antoinette smiled "then I am honoured, a man so sweet in heart to a woman should be celebrated" she smiled carefully.
After getting out of the boat she looked at all the candles "the candles are so romantic".

"Yes," he agreed. "These are the only light I have."
Antoniette turned to look at him, but he stood so close, she had to step back. She was aware of his obsessions. She knew that with his expression of love came a heavy burden. She also worried that after such a display for Christine, she might be nothing more then a distraction from his heart brake.
But she could not deny what she'd felt all along. Even the jealousy.

Erik smiled at her gently kissing her hand "Madame I have made you something" he whispered pulling her towards a room.
"This is for you" he beamed showing her a picture, a painting "do you like it?" he smiled.

Antoinette put a hand to her heart, taking in the dark colors of the oil painting. It was of her, as she is today, her hair braided long, to her hips, her metalic stick in hand, touching the floor at her feet. The background was that of maroon curtains of a dark unlit opera stage.
"Erik, you have brilliant talent, in all of the arts."

"It took me a very long time but you of course are worth ever hour" he beamed. Antoinette was lost in the painting her eyes were bright with shock and joy.
"I can't believe you did this for me Erik" she gasped again, her hand flying to her mouth.

"Alot of what I do is for you, Madame," He set the painting down, let it lean agianst the wall. "I watched you training today. You still have all the grace you ever possessed."
Antoinette smiled at him, thanking him without words. They'd known one another for so long, words were never really needed.
"I worry about Meg, though. She has stopped trying," She admitted, mind wondering to her daughter. The young girl had been some what despressed since her good freinds departure from the Opera House. Many of whom they used to work with were gone now, since it's destruction.

"Everyone seems to be leaving me" she whispered sadly, he looked at her gently. "It's alright, I know how that feels...to be alone" his eyes trailed down to the floor sadly as he walked from her eyes line.

"That's why i am so grateful to you," He stroked a stray hair that had somehow removed itself from the tightly wound braid. His fingers trailed down the braid, feeling it's course, but soft, ripple effect. "You have never left me."
Antoinette gripped his hand, stopping its trail. Thier fingers intertwined. "Sometimes, I think I did," She informed him. "Emotionaly, I with drew, because did not know how to respond."
She sighed deeply, glacning again at the painting. "And then, there were other things."
"Other things?" He question, touching her face. He wanted to see her eyes.

"Just thinkings that got in the way or...I refused to act on" she said simply. "It is not easy to have someone you love hiding away from the world. You had done nothing wrong" she sighed reaching to take his mask from his face.
