"HUNDREDS QUEUE FOR HOLLYWOOD MOVIE ROLE" 08:00 - 10 September 2007 Hundreds of people queued up in a bid to get a part in the latest Hollywood movie to be shot in the county. The Young Victoria tells the story of the early years of Queen Victoria, and stars Lincolnshire actor Jim Broadbent, along with Emily Blunt and Miranda Richardson. Film crews are scheduled to start shooting in Lincoln Cathedral in two weeks, and held open auditions for extras this weekend. The auditions, held at the TA Centre on Newport, Lincoln, were for adults aged between 17 and 70, as well as children aged between five and 12. As it did in The Da Vinci Code, Lincoln Cathedral will double as Westminster Abbey. The film crew will shoot the scenes of Queen Victoria's Coronation in 1838.

Oooh, my uncle and aunt live in Lincoln. I don't think they'd appreciate a lodger during the filming of this! I could go to visit them, and "accidently" bump into Miranda in the street, or wherever!
