Hahaha I think i saw it at the cinema and I was like 13 or something. Man, do I feel old now? I recall seeing 'Child's Play' when I was nine, which was my first horror film. I fed myself on horror stories when I was little - 'Goosebumps' and a whole bunch of others. Actually, I've had a dose of creepy lately, too. I got 'Shades of Darkness' from Amazon recently and watched it over the last two nights - a series of six short films/episodes made in the 80s. Miranda's part in one of them is kinda small, so I was a bit disappointed about that, but they were quite good anyway. I also just got 'Underworld', or 'Transmutations', which is another of her early ones, and was written by Clive Barker (he wrote the 'Hellraiser' series, which I haven't seen, but I've read a number of his more fantasy-y books and they're always fabulously dark and surreal as well). I'm looking forward to that one. Also, on a random note, I *despise* the way video and DVD covers of Manda's early films that were put onto said VHS and DVD after she became more well-known list her as 'starring' in the film and put pictures of her on the cover. Drives me crazy when the part is really small, because I get my hopes up. Honestly, DVD-VHS companies, I will watch the damn thing for five minutes of her, really I will, but please be honest with me that that's what I'm getting. The 'shades of darkness' DVD mentions both her and Hugh Grant on the cover of the disc, and ONLY them, and they both play very small parts in their episode. I was expecting them to lead it. CURSE YOUR FALSE ADVERTISING, DVD MAKER!

Gosh I hate that, it's like don't fool me into think she has a big role when she don't lol Like get carter I thought hay I know it's not much but it'll be quite abit, wrongo. Paid 12 pound for like maybe just about ten minutes of her. Least they could have done was put in the damn deleted scene where Jack asks her out. Which I think would have made the story more interesting if they did go out. The rest I didn't watch cause I just didn't like it. Wasn't my thing.

Good points - and big corporations wonder why people download so much! If people have the choice of 10 mins of their favourite star (guess who ;D) for about £15 or a free file, it's a no brainer! The cost of DVDs in the UK is pretty high compared to other countries, so people want value for money. The greed of all these big companies is definitely backfiring on them. *oops - my first off topic*

I had watched Blackadder a few times, but I didn't realise that Miranda played Queenie until I found her IMDB page. I honestly thought I was seeing things! I never knew that Madame Giry from Phantom and Lady Van Tassel from Sleepy Hollow was Queenie.

Well, that happened to me as well, when I saw GoF! When Rita Skeeter appeared I was all like WHERE have I seen her before? Her face seemed so oddly familiar but I didn't know why,it was rather scary actually I didn't realise until afterwards when I read the ending credits that that was Miranda Richardson, the actress who played Mab,in the wonderful movie Merlin I had seen a couple of years ago,and then I also found out she was Queenie in Blackadder.
