Ok this ain't Miranda but it's fanwork still, love Lamia, she's such an awesome character. So I wanted to write a fic about her. Enjoyxxx Had to write something while I am ill with the stupid bug again. *hugs*
From Stardust
Lamia stood in front of a mirror looking at her reflection. She was beautiful again, but for how long. She sighed deeply running her hand along her cheek and down into her curly blonde hair.
Her sisters were gathered around her looking in awe. But also in jealousy, why did Lamia always end up being the one to become beautiful before them. Lamia smirked as she spun around admiring her new gown. "I like this look an awful lot better" she grinned. She was all too pleased with herself.
Moments later she turned around and looked up at the ceiling.
"I'll find you" she muttered to herself. Her sisters stood staring at her waiting for her next word. "Now I must go. You two stay here. I'll go find the fallen star. She couldn't have gotten very far on her own could she". Lamia waved her arms and within seconds she disappeared in a flash of green smoke. The sisters waved the smoke from their faces and frowned making sarcastic impressions of their sister.
Months later Ditchwater Sal was sat outside of her wagon eating her food in silence. Lamia walked over and looked down at her. The woman almost fell off her seat in fear. "Madame...I thought I'd never have the pleasure of seeing you again" she said quickly.
Lamia looked down at her and frowned "I know you saw the star. I know she came here. Now tell me" she hissed. Sal looked at her shaking her head "no...She didn't come here".
Lamia grabbed Sal's neck with her magic powers forcing her to stand. "Do not lie to me..." she hissed. Then the thought occurred to her. She had placed a spell on Sal. She waved her hands and within an instant the old woman began talking.
"She went east...with some lad don't know his name. I know no more" she said quickly.
Lamia frowned and looked down at the woman before her eyes travelled east "I see...a lad you say. In that case I will have the perfect place to put my trap. High on that spot of land. And you will help me". Sal shook her head "surely you don't need my help" she began but was cut off by Lamia's magic.
"Silence! You will speak when spoken to" she muttered.
Sal stared up at Lamia as she thought to herself about her plan. Running it through her head to make sure she got it right. With one flick of her wrist a large house appeared east on the spot of land she'd pointed to.
Sal stood watching as the house appeared. "You will pretend to be my maid. I will be a rich wealthy woman who lives alone. Do not betray me. You know what happens to people who betray me don't you" she asked her finger running over a blade attached to her belt.
More to come if people like it enough
