Hmmmmm, what is this about writing me a fic? *cannot remember* *needs new memory* Don't suppose anyone would care to buy me a new memory, do you, it be my birthday next week? But, hey, new fics are always good! Even Mab/Merlin, I suppose... Should certainly be interesting to read one... Hmmmm, now everyone is writing more fics too... *desperately tries to think of more ideas when she should be revising for her exams*

OK, so, this chap will suck. I wrote in about a half hour last night. *Chapter 4: There is an Equal or Greater Reaction* Mab Queen Mab was far too dignified to run, but her hasty stride as she entered the main room of the Palace of the Faye could almost qualify as a jog. Someone had entered her kingdom—someone powerful. The energy traces felt like something out of a half-forgotten dream. She knew them from somewhere, but she couldn’t tell from where. It was annoying her to no end, and she was going to make sure that whoever had invaded her realm knew her wrath. She picked up a crystal, and summoned up an image of the invader. She frowned as a delicate face with porcelain features, blonde hair and ice blue eyes appeared. The Queen of Air and Darkness had never seen anyone like her. The girl had Faye blood, but Mab could tell from her expression that she’d never been in the realm of magic before. The Leader of the Old Ways ordered Frik to bring the girl into the Palace…she wanted to know who she was dealing with. Idath The Lord of Winter took a step back from his cauldron with a frown. The beautiful young girl that had appeared there was clearly the focal point of the rush of power he could feel all over his kingdom, but who was she? Idath had never seen her before in his very long life. She was dressed in the ritual black garb of visitors to the Realm of Death, but she was obviously not familiar with Aneoth. Idath walked to the doors of his palace and out of them, striding towards where he knew the girl would be. Ardente Lord Ardente was rather surprised as his daughter Nimue ran into his tent to tell him that he had a visitor. He told her to let the visitor in. When he was faced with a girl with frizzy black hair, deep brown eyes that completely dominated her face, and a mesmerizing scent of frankincense and sandalwood, he was nearly knocked off his chair. Vortigern By the time that the news that there was an intruder in the camp reached Vortigern, he had been half-expecting to hear it. After all, things could hardly get any worse than they already were...his army had, in the space of a few short hours, been attacked by griffons, Shades, and the armies of Chaos. An intruder would be the straw that would break the camel’s back, and the camel’s back would invariably be broken. Vortigern sighed as he was told, and ordered the prisoner to be brought to him. It looked as though he had a rather large dead camel on his hands. Uther Prince Uther was not in any way, shape, or form prepared for the teenager who strode through the doors of his great hall. He moved through the lines of guards on either side of Uther, coming to a stop just in front of his throne. He frowned, and stood. “Who are you?” asked the Prince, in a very important tone of voice, but inside he could tell that there was something not quite right about the out of place boy.

Argh, school is the purest evil. Damn them for impeding on your fic-writing time!
And yes, the Vortigern bit was great: "It looked as though he had a rater large dead camel on his hands." Brilliant
