Since we're on the video topic....
My dad's friend is a stock-broker so he has special connections with people...anyway. He's ordering me Rage, and Falling Angels. I'm so excited! I can't rent or buy them anywhere here...so he's getting them for me! Ahhh!! He's also going to try to find Churchill. *squeal* I'm so excited.

Yay madamegiry! You're my hero! ;D You're so lucky.
Oh, once when I was little someone taped over our Jetsons Meet the Flinstones tape. It was one of my favorite tapes when I was little, so I was furious. And another time just about a year ago my mom accidentally sat on the remote and taped over a home video. It was the one with my sister's first birthday and my fifth birthday on it. And a few other cute things in between. We were all devastated when we realized what had happened. Luckily we didn't tape over the whole thing.

I know, we've taped over so many home-videos and such. It drove my mum insane because her hobbies include photography, video taping, and scrap-booking....

My aunt and uncle used to get movies about a week after they came out in theatres from their uncle, but then they realized it was illegal to do that. That's what I kept saying, but does anyone listen?

Well I have a friend who can somehow get pirate copies of dvd's for free.
Before Churchill came out and I was soooooo desperate for it I even considered asking her to se if she could get me one!!!
In the end I just waited!

That's what they used to do. They were always talking about how it had the quality of someone taping it on a video camera in the theatre (which, of course, is how they did it).

Yeah, these guys at school bought every single episode of South Park on five dvds...or something like that. It was so funny because they couldn't even hear what the characters were saying, and every once in a while someone would walk in front of the camera. They wasted $24 on it! There so foolish...

My friend went to NYC with the orchestra from school and she bought Ice Princess (then only out for less than a week) for her sister just because she found the thought of doing something illegal like that was exciting. She said that other than a fuzzy picture it's actually not that bad.
