Most of them I use the screen capture method on my computer DVD player to get the actual photo... then I use Paint Shop Pro 9.0 to add effects [you can download a trial on http://www.download.com]. If they're animated I use "Easy GIF" [which is also available as a trial on http://www.download.com]
Hope this helps! And glad you enjoy!
I plan to make some Queenie stuff if I'm ever able to afford Blackadder on DVD [or find it for rent locally!]

Yeah, it can be kind of complicated at times...
I've been tinkering around on computers since 1997, or so, so my experience on here has kind of evolved [not that I'm that great at it, always learning].
Yes, I'm hoping to get more things on DVD... back when I originally started collecting Miranda appearances DVDs were still really new [and expensive!] so I didn't get much in the means of those. Now I have all these movies that I need to buy DVD replacements of. Expensive!

I know how expensive they can be because I refused to pay £20 for Spider on dvd even though I really want to see it.

I refused to pay £20 for spider too (luckily I found it for a tenner a few streets away!) I have to replace my VHS collection! (anyone remember the old betamax? it was much better quality, but I could never borrow videos because they were all VHS)

My uncle has a huge collection of betamax, I've never seen one actually playing, though. The quality is better than VHS? Hurmmm... I wonder why they replaced them? I hope DVDs don't get replaced anytime soon, I'm just now working on building up that collection.

I don't think DVD's will be replaced for a long time. I mean they are so functional, and cheap to reproduce (unlike VHS) If they are replaced it will probably be through a system like MP3 where people can just download movies and store them on a chip. So as far as the DVD collection goes, you could probably just transfer them. (That is my prediction anyway!)

You're probably right... just so hard to tell what kind of technology they'll think of next.
