Julie Christie should have won. I am so sorry to you who love Tilda but I think she is the worst actress to ever walk this planet. She ruined Narnia and I'll never forgive her... Sorry, it's just my opinion.
MARION WON though! I am incredibly happy! I adored her in La Vie En Rose! It was truly just... Amazing!
And also, Julie looks amazing.

She was truly amazing, yes. I know that many of you love Tilda, and I'm so sorry for not talking very nicely about her then, but remember it's only my opinion and I don't dislike anyone from thinking differently. I just can't get over the fact that Marion won! She was amazing!

Cate could have won for best actress in a supporting role, but... HELLO! Did you see La Vie En Rose? It was really amazing and Marion's performance was brilliant!

Julie Christie is still a good talent and a beautiful woman. She is an example of how ageing can be done "gracefully." Julie is a treasure who has almost been forgotten, I think, but now she won't be forgotten. She won in my opinion.

The late George C. Scott rejected his Oscar for Best Actor for Patton. He said that he did not like the competition-minded academy awards mentality. I agree with him. I think there aught to be several winners for each catagory. If nominated, all the nominees win. Why not ? Marlon Brando also did not accept his Oscar for the first Godfather film because Brando did not like the treatment native Americans (Indians) have received from the American movie industry. Along with this, Richard Burton never won an Academy Award, although he was nominated at least three times. Also, apparently Fred Astair never won an Oscar either. So perhaps we should not take the winners too seriously, eventhough many Oscar winners have deserved their awards.
