I know: it's so awesome, isn't? And Meryl just steals the entire movie. If she doesn't get at least another Oscar NOMINATION for it (if not a win) then I am going to have a FIT.
And what sucks is that it isn't coming out on DVD here until December 12th! It came out on June 3Oth for heaven's sake! Why is it taking so damn long to put it on disc?!
Okay, rant over.

"By all means, move at a glacial pace, you know how that thrills me!"
That is SO the best line ever.

you're complaining about a DVD RELEASE?!?! It won't be out in germany for another two weeks! and I'm sooo thrilled, I can hardly wait, it's almost as bad as waiting for a Miranda movie!

*sheepish smile* Yeah, I guess I shouldn't be complaining. I'm just way too obsessed with it. *pets DWP novel and poster*

I'm glad. ;D I seriously have a wall in my room plastered with pictures of Meryl in DWP along with graphics I made plus the poster. Which is almost sad seeing as my other walls are plastered with pictures of actresses/actors in many roles (ex: Miranda) so this is the only wall dedicate to one single character, which is only further proof of my obsession.

I saw The Devil Wears Prada last night. I loved it. Meryl Streep totally stole the entire movie. I thought that Emily Blunt (she was in Gideon's Daughter with Miranda) was fantastic too. She's definately someone to watch out for in the future.

Emily Blunt was great and Anne Hathaway is always good. But no one can steal the movie away from Meryl. She's just....truly magnificent in every meaning of the word.

Not much going on so I thought I'd mention I watched Sophie's Choice for the first time last night and afterward had trouble sleeping because I kept wondering if my mother would choose me or my brother to be the one to go to the ovens. I sort of regret watching it. It was good...but too sad for me. Kevin Kline was good in that I was always nervous around him...especially when he was calm...thinking that at any moment he would smack her and go crazy.

I watched Sophie's Choice a couple of months ago. It truly was tragic and I almost caught myself crying more than once. I also couldn't help wondering why it was she chose to save her son and not her daughter. I've come to think it was because she thought that her son might have a better chance of survival than her daughter since girls were still seen as weaker and more fragile back then.
