Awwww...I found clips of Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep on The View discussing The Devil Wears Prada. If anyone is interested in me posting those links, let me know.
Randomly, I watched Sophie's Choice for the first time last night. Meryl SO deserved that Oscar.

I found this awesome clip of Meryl singing "Heartbreak Hotel" in "Postcards From The Edge" and I thought I would share. Her voice is wicked awesome. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMGuWYDH3u4

My brother and I are obsessed with She-Devil and Death Becomes Her lol. He'll watch Death Becomes Her constantly...and even after a million times it's still funny. Ridiculous, but funny.

I love She-Devil. 'Tis hilarious and Meryl is absolutely brilliant in it. Same with Death Becomes Her.
"Ernest, I'm in the morgue..." *cracks up*

She Devil is probably my favorite...so many funny quotes..."ooh a gummy bear" lol. "I think Bob...is a beautiful name" and the part where she has her tantrum and...eek it's hard to describe...she slowly slinks to the ground with her hands on her legs saying no...I can't describe it...but it's funny. I haven't seen her new movie.

OMG You HAVE to! The Devil Wears Prada is SO love!!!!!! Meryl as Miranda Priestly is brilliant. Beyond brilliant. Totally brilliant. *is such a fangirl*
"The tales of your incompetence do not interest me."
"By all means, move at a glacial pace, you know how that thrills me!"
"Don't be ridiculous, Andrea, everybody wants this, everybody wants to be us."

Seems like you've already seen it about 10 times...it didn't seem like a movie that I'd rush to the theaters to see. I'll probably buy or rent it when it's out. If my brother wanted to see it I would. My mother doesn't really like her, but she's absolutely Obsessed with Out of Africa. I've therefore seen it so many times...that it's become annoying.

I've seen it twice and i have also devoured the book that it is based on. I just adore Meryl's character and if she doesn't get at least another Oscar nomination for it I'll die from shock. Seriously. She's that good. And it's not because I'm partial that I think that because The Devil Wears Prada was the first time I ever watched a movie of hers all the way through. I'd only caught half of She-Devil and a bit of The River Wild. She's just amazing in it. *restrains self from going on anymore*

I've seen it twice and i have also devoured the book that it is based on Is the book worth reading before seeing the film? I can't wait to see it. October can't come quickly enough. I love Meryl Streep almost as much as I love Miranda. They should co star in a movie. How awsome would that be!

The book is excellent but I prefer the movie personally, but that might be because I saw it before I read the book. But there are many differences between book and movie so whichever way you view them first, there is bound to be a little bias.
