Lol I can't see her doing it either. I mean I would respect her for doing it if she decided to, but I wouldn't particularly want to see her naked, it wouldn't be comfortable for me.

I certainly would not lose my respect for her if she do it. She is adult and owner of her body, so it's all up to her decision.

make Caitlin, lol we should protest outside the directors house lol with signs hehe. And yeah we never know she might do it but she has several films still like telepathy whenever that's being made and it depends if she likes the script. And if she wants to do it

Whatever happens, whether Miranda acts in the nude or not, she will survive the experience and so will we.

It would be really great, if she were to play the part, imho. Really, it sounds intriguing, and I personally hope it doesn’t fall through.
Does anyone have any more info on the subject so far?

I just know that the play has been confirmed for the Chitchester festival, but I've heard nothing about the cast.

God, I hope she does do it! And I wish I could be there if she did! What does everyone have against nudity, really? o.O Honestly, I don't think the girls in the stage play would be any more about 'letting it all hang out' than in the film. Like Helen Mirren said about Calendar Girls - there were only nipples once! Of course, it's harder to do angles and such on stage, but I hardly think they'll be parading around the stage naked - and even if they were, so what? As long as the nudity is part of the story, what's wrong with it? The whole point of Calendar Girls and the whole WI calendar story is that beauty is ageless and 'nude' is art. I saw a play in Sydney in which John Wood bounded naked across the stage in the opening scene. If he can do it, Miranda certainly can!
