Miranda has been cast in a new BBC 3 part adaptation of the Agatha Christie book 'And Then There Were None'. Miranda is playing Miss Emily Brent. The series also stara Aidan Turner as Philip Lombard, Charles Dance as Justice Wargrave, Sam Neill, Anna Maxell Martin and Toby Stephens. It is expected to be screened over the Christmas period. The story is set in 1939 and sees 10 strangers invited to the isolated Soldier Island, near the Devon coast, by mysterious hosts Mr and Mrs UN Owen, who are absent when they arrive. Each of the guests is accused of a “terrible crime”. After one of them dies, the group realise there may be a murderer among them.

I read the book now. It is brilliant. Miranda has a nice part to play. The 3 part mini-series will be airing on 26-28 December. I am really fond of some of the actors in this. And it is written by Sarah Phelps. She also wrote the BBC three part Christmas mini series of Great Expectations which I utterly adore and admire. This all looks very promising.

It was so brilliant. .. but there is always a high chance for Charles Dance being the murderer/ villain. So much for expectations spoilering the storyline 😊
