Okay, so in the midth of my Miranda craze, I thought I'd go as Mab for Halloween. I have the make-up all planned out, even bought violet-ish M.A.C glitter to put on my face. It's just so hard to get the outfit right. I can't recreate one of the costumes she wears in the movie -too little time, too little money- but I think I can create an outfit that has the whole Mab-feeling about it. (crossing my fingers!) What's everybody else doing for Halloween?

lol *high fives* I'm trying to do Mab too, again it's just the dress that's causing me a problem. Oddly enough a few of my mates are going as fairies. ;D

*lol* Awesome. I wish I could go to a party where nobody knew me - then I could even act out Mab ... my friends would give me funny looks if I'd go all the way & do the voice etc ... Well, not that that's new to them ... but ... you know.

LoL I'm weird enough to go around doing the voice, but I dont have a party or that to go too. It's kindof a party but no where near a party at all haha. I'll probably end up jumping out at lil kids though

Well, if I'd do the voice, they might ask me if I have a cold or something (ignorant little ... *beeeep*s -yes, I censor myself-) Oh, I wish kids would go trick or treat-ing here, but since it's not really a holiday in Germany, we don't get that bit. We only get the excuse to get plastered.

HA HA HA HA!!! We use that excuse here in the States as well! I think I have two or three things to do that day and then a party...maybe two...idk. I'm hoping to be the Queen of Hearts (oddly enough a Miranda role), but we'll see, I'm so strapped for cash right now...alcohol is expensive...lol!

I think people use that excuse everywhere! XD I think your costumes are going to be really cool!! I wanted to go as The Queen of Hearts too, funnily enough, but I don't think that is happening now so I have no idea!!! I have at least one party to go to and I need a costume so I should get on that! Thank you for reminding me Cira!

And the Miranda version of her had an interesting look to it. The outfit looked almost like it was made of paper. ... Would be a cheap alternative, though only good for 1 time, I guess . You're welcome, 'Annette' . I'm out of ideas, but I guess going as any kind of witch or elf is on the top of the list of opportunities. Other than that mummys and ghosts are ranked high and quite easy to make. So, the make-up is all laid out (I'm tempted to post pictures of the try out.) As for the outfit... Well, I have a top now. Currently searching ebay.co.uk for a skirt to go with it. ... I think I just found one. It's not really cheap though.

You should post photos of your costume!!! That would be really cool, I would love to see how it is coming along!! Oh my gosh I am so sorry for never introducing myself to you!! My name is Lisa, but you can call me Anette if you would rather do that. Either works! I would love to go as a witch but I have gone as one every year for 9 or 10 years straight! XD I don't think I care though, I love being a witch!! I am the most predictable person ever. I will most likely be wearing my costume from last year because I am saving up for a bunch of stuff right now and I am too lazy to make a costume. The dress I have isn't from a Witch's costume but I use it for one anyway because I just love it so much!

I will definitely have to have at least 1 test run for the make-up (because of the glitter). So since my face will be all made up, I could don the outfit & take a few snap shots, if you'd like. My hair hasn't arrived yet though *lol*. Well, hello Lisa, nice to 'meet' you. . I am really bad with names, so I might end up calling you 'Annette' - I'm glad you don't mind. ^^ Witches are always good for Halloween. I once went as a Zombie - sadly there are no pictures, but believe me: My make-up was fierce. *lol* As long as the dress has a 'witch-y' vibe to it, it works perfectly. I usually end up wearing something that I'd wear on the streets, mainly because I don't like to buy something that will only get worn on one occation.

That would be another good reason for wearing my costume from last year, it is a kind of medieval gown so I don't often wear it and it would be good to give it some more wearing time. "My hair hasn't arrived", that made me smile!

*lol* Yeah, it 'sounds' weird - but that's the way I am . I really hope that it's going to arrive soon. I'll have to practice putting it on.

I love reusing costumes! Especially cheap ones, I remember one year I went as an Asian tourist (because I'm half Asian) and it was a huge hit! lol!
