Recently I had a PM from one of the board members suggesting that there are too many threads on the board, and that lots of new threads make everything cluttered and difficult to navigate.
I have my own opinion on this, but I don't want to just enforce my own likes and dislikes on this board. So please let me know, via the poll or comments if you like, what you think.
Also: if the answer to the poll is yes, would you object to my deleting the hell out of a number of threads? This may mean losing some of the things you've posted recently, but they could be reposted in general threads designed for the purpose. I can move things, but it is, frankly, a pain in the arse.

I think in the picture ones and about miranda mostly. The fanwork is fine well I wanna keep my most recent one of grasses if you had to get rid of others. And my Fred Claus to stay too. Erm...Yeah mostly pics one, I just sometimes dunno where to put them. could delete some and one of us could make a whole new thread, just for new or unseen Miranda pictures I apologise for making so many threads, I just find too many pictures which is a good thing. So yeah, you could get rid of a lot of my picture threads and I'll make one new one of Miranda pictures, and anyone who finds new ones can post them there. Can be one everyone can use for new pictures. Makes sense

I don't have a major issue with it, but sometimes in the past I've noticed it. I think Ali creates new threads all the time so that the thread titles are sort of like headlines. Some people might not visit a big thread about one topic if they don't know there is any new or interesting info there. We could just do what she already does with the new pics thread. If there is something new, put the "updated" thing in the thread title.

Hence me suggesting them being deleted and just one thread for Miranda pics

Well, now that you mention it, yes, I suppose that there are some new threads. I have no major problem with that, I just think that people should really search first and see if there is any pre-created thread when they can put the stuff they have found or whatever they want to say. For me, the threads issue is not problematic but I think we all must do everything we could to keep the Board "tidy" and easy to access.

I have been noticing some threads popping up which have pictures/content that have already been posted before, it doesn't help the situation. But it can be hard to look back on the hundreds of threads to check if it has already been posted before... Guess this is where you Mods and Admins come in

I think the threads get e bit much. I totally see electrostrikes point with it being hard to look through a hundred threads to see if the item you are going to post is already there, but I think that is why we should be more cautious with our thread making. Then we won't have to look back at a hundred threads.

I am not that annoyed with the clutter. It is a little irratating sometime when I am trying to find one specific thread. I do agree with putting all the pictures in one thread and stuff like that which involves combining, instead of totally deleting. Whatever you all decide is fine with me. I am just happy to be here!! ;D

A suggestion - We should all be uploading the new pictures we find to the gallery. Which would definatly relax the amount of threads on the forum and perhaps make us engage more on the gallery itself. Maybe this should be considered?
