News today that Miranda will be returning to the stage next year - the Royal Court in London. She will be appearing in the new Wallace Shawn play 'Grasses of a Thousand Colours'
It is his first play in a decade - the "explicit" and "erotic" Grasses of a Thousand Colours is about a man and his two mistresses in a world destroyed by a scientific disaster.
More info as I find it.

Ooo wonder when it is, Manda must be playing a mistress or the wife, must go be awesome. Get to see her for real again woo and in a proper play. xxx Maybe we'll get lucky this time and get her autograph xxx I sense some nudity or some violence by the description but it also says funny and disturbing so that kind of makes the violence thing more likely. Who knows. Sounds great anyway She might be the wife who he cheats on. That would mean Manda playing another scorned woman. But she does play them well ;D keep us informed of dates. I wanna see Manda for real again ;D Here's some info I found out, Wallace is staring in it too opposite Miranda Shawn appears opposite Richardson in his own play Grasses Of A Thousand Colours, which is billed as an extreme, disturbing and funny vision of the embattled relationship between man and beast. Unforgettable as Queenie in Blackadder, Richardson started her career on the stage before making her name as a screen actress with credits including Empire Of The Sun, The Crying Game and, more recently, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. Shawn's acting credits inlude the films Manhattan, Clueless and The Princess Bride. As a playwright he has frequently collaborated with Andre Gregory, who directs this production.

Summary
Grasses of a Thousand Colors is a poetic epic that tells the story of a scientist (Ben), his wife (Cerise), and his two mistresses (Robin and Rose), as they fend for their lives in a world much like ours, yet one savagely close to extinction. Due to the scientific manipulation of the world's crops, a destructive system for which Ben is partly responsible, there is very little nourishment left to be had, except for those most privileged and connected. Despite the dying off of most of the world, these characters manage to survive, at times tasting the good life, admiring the beauties of nature, feasting on animalistic sex, and finding love. The play raises issues of redemption, forgiveness, and responsibility as it recounts a somewhat passionate, erotic adventure story.

Sounds very strange lol wonder how they are staging this and what the costumes will be if they'll be kind of futuristic or past time. Or as it says a day kind of like ours just modern but stranded lol who knows. Hope Manda has a big part I see her being the wife, though she'd be good at any of them but she did play Wallace's wife in Ice cream they pair up so well together.

Thank you fellow theater go-ers of Mirandatia. I have never heard of the play Grasses of a Thousand Colours by Wallace Shawn. I have not heard of Wallace Shawn before now either. So I have learned something today by reading this thread. I will get and read this play. Then, I hope Miranda will act in this play in the US and in Washington in particular. We have yet to see her in anything in America's capital city - where - we will have a new President - Barak Obama, whom we have just elected this week. Next, Miranda must come here and act.
Thanks again.
