:)A new series on BBC4 screening from tonight, THE THIRTIES IN COLOUR, is narrated by Miranda. It is to be screened in four parts and the first part can be seen again tomorrow on the channel (albeit quite late). The second, third and fourth parts will be screened every Wednesday from 9.00pm.

Some of us would like more of the BBC in North America - including radio - of which we get little or nothing. I 'm interested in British comedy and drama performed on radio. We have none of that in the US, at least none I know about. I would welcome the chance to buy Cd/s of BBC radio programs, just as we can get BBC tv shows on tv here and also DVD's of British TV. And with Miranda performing in some of these programs - all the better.

The US had heaps and heaps of radio back in the day -- I've recently started listening to a number of old radio shows that Agnes Moorehead performed, because I'm in love with her. Perhaps you could find some great old radio serials in your local library? Or do you mean you get no British stuff, specifically?

We do get Lots and Lots of British entertainment in the states, but nearly all of it is TV. We have no radio comedy or drama of our own for decades now. Except for BBC radio there is no British radio broadcasts of which I know.
