I wrote this and Frida liked it alot so thought I'd put it up. If it gets no viewings I will delete it to save space. This is a story based on winters tale slightly. Only by one of the names and the fact he thinks she cheated on him. Otherwise I made it myself. Winters tale was just my inspiration. It's not very long but hope you will like it. I tried to write in a old fashioned kind of style. But that kind of sounded like shakespear. I say kind of cause I only lightly based it. But anyway here it is. And is thy is wrong please tell me what is right. I thought it sounded correct but it may be wrong. Do correct me if it should be something else. And if you find any spelling mistakes. I did check several times. But I may have overlooked something. Dunno if I am going to add to this. It may just be a one off.
Hermione: (sitting on a chair in the corner of the room by a brightly burning fire). Send him in and let us be a while.
Maid: (curtsy’s and exits room).
Hermione: My Lord. What ails you?
John: I was passing by.
Hermione: You look pale. Come now sit by me and tell me what has made you so.
John: I will ask thee one question. One only, and you are to give...an honest answer.
Hermione: Of course My Lord. Ask at will.
John: Has thine eyes wondered to someone other then your good King?
Hermione: I know not what you are suggesting my Lord. For I have only eyes for you.
John: You have not looked upon any other man the way you do your husband?
Hermione: Certainly not.
John: And not let another steal a kiss from thy lips?
Hermione: Never.
John: And not shared thy bed with...
Hermione: My Lord I think you need to rest your head, these are ravings.
John: I have seen the way you flirt with them.
Hermione: With whom?
John: You know too well.
Hermione: I'm sorry Good Sir but I do not.
John: (leans over her, a hand on both arm rests on the chair she's sitting on). You lie.
Hermione: I do not. I never...
John: You think me mad? (recoils)
Hermione: No. I think you are confused.
John: (lifts her chin) Then you say you are but an angel who has done no wrong?
Hermione: I am no angel. I never claimed so.
John: And I asked for an honest answer. But you did not give it to me. (moves away)
Hermione: I did.
John: To bed with you.
Hermione: I am not tired.
John: Then do not sleep. But lie down and shut thine eyes to try.
Hermione: Go to your work.
John: No I shall not.
Hermione: For what reason? Oh...you want to question me?
John: No.
Hermione: Then go. What keeps you here other then accusing your wife?
John: I want to be with you Hermione.
Hermione: You think me plain.
John: I never said you were...
Hermione: You did when you uttered those words to me.
John: I love you. (Takes her hand and kneels in front of her chair)
Hermione: But yet you cannot trust me. So how can you love me?
John: I can.
Hermione: Can you?
John: Yes.
Hermione: Then take your leave. I will ready for bed.
John: I will make sure our little princess is sleeping.
Hermione: (nods and stands up)
John: Hermione, I love you.
Hermione: I love you more then life itself.
John: (goes to check on his daughter then walks back into the room) Let us retire.
Hermione: (gets into bed and looks at her husband)
John: (begins to get ready)
Hermione: (picks up her book and begins to read)
John: (smiles looking back at her)
Hermione: (giggles)
John: To hear you laugh is like sweet music to my ears.
Hermione: Thank you.
John: What is it that made you so happy in that book of yours?
Hermione: When the husband carries his wife over the threshold. Reminds me of when you had done the same with me.
John: I remember.
Hermione: And how (giggles) how you almost dropped me in the fountain on the way.
