The Apostle wasn't a horrible movie, it just got a little annoying over time with all of the "Jesus!" lol. I would say most of the time sequels are crap, but there are some exceptions. I haven't seen Shrek the Third, but the first two were good. The first two Blade movies were good, the third was sh*t. I haven't seen the Godfather movies, but apparently they're all good. I wouldn't include LotR or HP in this discussion. About remakes, I guess most are crap...I can't think of any good ones at the moment, but I'm sure they exist.

hehe spider man, shrek 3 is ok, wouldn't say I wanna watch it again, it is not as good as the other two.
