Ah, yeah, I quite like Mirror Mask, too. Bought it for my younger brother ages ago, it was somewhat wierd in parts, but nothing wrong with that.

I would of never seen the childrens films she's done, like Alice In Wonderland, Snow White....being twenty-two, I felt kinda awkward renting them, cause they were in the childrens section, and my brother made fun of me. (I have some choice words of desciption for him, but I'd better not use them, I suppose)

I know what you mean. I try to stay at arms length from most children most of the time, so the children's section of shops are a no go area for me! Luckily, Snow White was on TV the Christmas before last, so I could watch it then!

Yes, it's best to get them hooked from an early age- like my little brother- 8 years old, and already a metal fan. Haven't quite got him round to the Mab-obsessing yet, but I WILL SUCCEED!

There are many films I wouldn't have seen if it weren't for her, but few that I don't think I'd have liked without her in them. If I liked the film, I liked it. There are a few of her films I don't like, but was interested to see her performance in - Get Carter, as people have said (dude, it's just crap), and also 'The Apostle'. Honestly, after watching those two I had to ask 'why, Miranda?', but meh. It's good to see her perform, even if the film she's in is mostly shit.

Two words: Merlin's Apprentice.
Why, oh why, when the first one was so good, did the "sequel" have to be so bad?

Has anyone seen 'The Mad Monkey'? That's a bizarre one. I felt slightly disturbed by that film for ages afterwards...and a little unwashed too Usually it's worth watching most things for her performance, there's only a few that have actually been not worth the time, and I agree, 'Merlin's Apprentice' is top of that list. Why, oh why??? I don't know if anyone has plowed through 'A Woman Of Substance' either...Oh my god...terminally dull. But I guess we have to forgive her for that as it was her first tv appearance *I think* Angie, you put it so well... 'Dude, it's just crap' haha! Beautiful xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I recorded that on DVD when it was on TV, but someone deleted it before I got the chance to watch it. I was disappointed at the time, but hearing what everyone here has said about it, it may have been a good thing I didn't see it. Now I've just got to concentrate on finding the DVD of Merlin!

I kind of don't even know how to describe it! It was a few years ago that I watched it, so bear with me, not sure how much of the plot I remember!
It's something to do with a film being made...Jeff Goldblum is the writer and Miranda his wheelchair-bound agent who is in love with him...there's a starlet who seduces Jeff (Liza Walker) and I vaguely remember some kind of incest plot-line with her too.
Miranda, is, as always, stunning, so it is worth watching for her.
God knows why it's called The Mad Monkey!!
Sorry I can't be more forthcoming, my memory is shocking. All I remember vividly is a pervading sense of darkness/seediness/eightiesness...!
