why oh why do you all have schools that seem fit to survive the next 30 or so years? and where there are no keyboards falling out of the ceiling?

lol My school is actually over a 100 years old and computers are a rather new addition, I do believe. I know we just recently got a set put in each classroom. Before then we just had a computer lab and the teachers only had laptops.

Well my school old school (I had to leave this year becuase it olnly goes up to the age of 16) seems as if it is in the Victorian age, seriously!!! It was started in 1877 so it's really kinda old! I still love it to bits though, I just wish I didn't have to leave *cries* I hated using the computers at school. I usually ended up breaking them in some way! Therefore the IT teacher kinda hated me! lmao
I can't find any pictures of it though!

My old school (I had to leave it this year too) was from the 60's and it was ordered to construct by the government of the dictatorship... what a happiness...

My school is in good condition it's just not financially wealthy. Then again, the entire county is not wealthy.

Minkaro, I don't suppose you could locate a picture of the college, 'cause I can't find any! Not even on the website! And it's such a pwetty building!
Awww, Nottingham looks lovely Queenie! Sadly, I have never visited. I have, however, visited the Cotswolds and the Lake District some considerable time ago. And York. Now that was a nice city. I've seen bits of Oxford, which was also very nice. Mostly I saw Keble college and the inside of HMV. And a wall outside Keble college, that I stared at for two hours after my dad broke down there. Evil company car.

I am resurrecting this because I was looking up my city today and thought it was interesting. If anyone can find their locations on wikipedia I'd find it cool to read. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syracuse%2C_New_YorkSome quick facts: it's the "Salt City", hosts the NY State Fair about 15 minutes away from me, home of the Onondaga Indians of the Iroquois, has the Erie Canal of course, was the site of the "Jerry Rescue" (abolitionist act), our water is from Skaneateles Lake (a finger lake) that is the cleanest of the finger lakes and is apparently unfiltered. Snow is certainly a big thing here, it says we have the most snow of large cities in the whole US. We also have crappy, hot and humid summers. Not much sunlight either so we are pale, cranky people lol. Our zoo is cool and it says one of our golf courses was the first public golf course in the US. There are two major bad things about where I live. The lesser of the two evils is that we spawned that which is known as Tom Cruise lol. The second is that one of our lakes, Onondaga Lake is the most polluted lake in America and one of the most polluted bodies of water in the world lol. It's next to the Carousel Mall which the city has been planning to turn into the next "mall of america" for about 15 years. Plans would make it bigger than the mall of america. I don't think they'll tell tourists that the lake is so polluted lol. My mailing address is Syracuse, but we live in the town of Onondaga just a couple of minutes away. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Genesee_High_SchoolMy school, known for a great music department. It was also renovated recently.
