I looove Mrs Lovett too!! She is really an awsome character!! When Sweeney Todd first came out on dvd I watched it like twice a week for months. I have seen most of Helena's movies and she is brilliant in all of them, she brings something special to every character and they are all so different. I really liked The Heart of Me, it was very emotional and it was so unique. I saw Dark Shadows!!! It was so awsome!!!! A little bit "out there" at times but I loved it all the same!! The actors were all fantastic, the costumes, props, sets etc. were all beautiful and the story was very good!! I was in awe the whole time!! <3

Yay! Someone who understands how awesome Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd is!! She really is so brilliant and unique in everything she does, whether is a more 'normal' role or an eccentric 'Burton' role. I was in awe of Dark Shadows too! My mom's friend told us it was awful, so I was a little worried but I thought it was great. The stories, the art, costuming, and especially the characters were all fascinating. Besides Julia Hoffman, I liked Barnabas and Angelique, and Elizabeth. I also recently got addicted to the original soap, which is really good for an old soap opera. Grayson Hall is just as fantastic of a Dr. Hoffman as Helena. And Mary: You'd really like Sweeney Todd. If you enjoyed Sleepy Hollow, you'll enjoy Sweeney.

I worship Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd, I have a seriously large poster of them in my room and still stare at it all the time. Ahhh don't even get me started on the characters in Dark Shadows!!!!!! I love the entire cast to bits, but my favourite, favourite, favourite character is Elizabeth!!!!!! <3 I just love her so friggen much. Dr. Hoffman makes me giggle!! <3 I haven't watched the tv show but have been meaning to for months, it is on Netlfix so I am probably going to watch it when I am able to, I am watching some other shows right now. I did start watching the first episode once, so the little progress bar has been at five minutes for about five months!! XD I had to leave though and never picked up where I left off. If you enjoyed it I am sure I will so I really should give it a go.

I have a smaller poster sadly, but I do worship it to pieces as well!! Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney are like two of the best fictional characters ever. Oh I love Liz especially at the end with the gun, but I have to warn you, she's not as cool in the series. She's sort of nondescript in the series. The Barnabas Collins in the series is amazing though and don't even get me started on how amazing Dr. Hoffman is! You will love the original series, like I said, it's good considering it's an old soap opera. Ooh and fun fact I learned recently: the character of Julia Hoffman was originally meant to be Dr. Julian Hoffman as in a male, but because of a typo and them not really feeling like changing it, kept the character as a woman. And she was originally meant to be killed off in the first few weeks of her appearance, but they liked her and Grayson Hall so much they kept her for the rest of the show's run. I guess it's safe to say she's very different from Helena's Dr. Hoffman.

Darn that really sucks that Elizabeth is different in the show! But at least Dr. Hoffman is still cool! And Barnabas too! Old soap opera are so great! Sometimes a bit corny, but still great!! Omg I think it is hilarious that Julian became Jupolia because of a typo!!! XD I can't tell you how much I am happy there was a typo all those years ago and someone was too lazy to make the change!

Oh don't get me wrong, Liz has her moments in the series (wait'll you find out what happened to Carolyn's dad), and yes the original Barnabas and Julia are amazing, especially Julia! Ooh! And in the show, Maggie Evans and Victoria Winters are two different people, Victoria's still the governess, but Maggie Evans is the one who is like the reincarnation of Josette. I know!! I will thank Mab every day for that typo. Best. Mistake. Ever. img.photobucket.com/albums/v223/Liz-ONBC/Dark%20Shadows/Elizabeth%20Collins%20Stoddard/joanbennet.jpgOh and here's the original Elizabeth.

Oh it sounds great! The original Elizabeth is very different from Michelle, but I think I will get used to it. The story is a bit different, but that will be alright. Looking forward to watching it!
