did you notice that merlin slammed this Jack-person into the wall? he seems to take after Mab after all ... Though he seems to have picked up his utter hypocrisy all by himself! Sorry, Merlin annoys the living hell out of me. .. <leaves, hits Merlin over head with big hammer, comes back again> Ah, feeling better now... ;D

I agree, Nimue bothers me a lot. There's just something about her that irks me to no end.

No-one could be as good as Mab! (Although Miranda will be brilliant as usual)
Pardon my scary obsession*waves insane flag above head* but there was just something about Lake Lady that annoyed me in Merlin. Possibly the effectively-leaving-her-sister-to-die thing.
Besides, Mab was, if nothing else, at least slightly sympathetic. She had reasons for her actions, and she was brave and strong enough to fight for them. Lake Lady just seems to have turned evil all of a sudden because of pollution. Not that pollution is good, its very bad, but you'd think she'd care just a little bit about her sister being dead... And why's Lady of the Lake back anyway? She was supposed to have vanished and been forgotten along with Mab and the rest of the Old Ways. If she's come back from the dead, then Mab should definitely come back too!
*goes and sits back down in padded cell, ranting to self about silly people not bringing Mab back.

*pats himiko's back* all right, breathe ...
you're so right. it doesn't really make sense. of course they could say that merlin included her in his camelot stories, unlike mab, but that would be a bit flat. I don't think fairy tales would be enough to make her exist. and the developpement from passive/good to active/evil is too fast to be believable. 50 years are like a second to the likes of her.

True, true... its Merlin, and Miranda is in it- both good things! Besides, even if the film isn't that good, there is always the glorious original to look back on, and watch millions of times. And, of course, if we are unhappy with the way the film pans out, we can always write the fanfictions and speculations on what should have happened.
