Yeah but some people don't have the dvd or they don't have the one with extras. Which I know some don't so it's for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Awesome!! I can't wait to watch this! When I rented the movie there weren't any behind the scenes clips! Thanks so much, Ali!

I don't know what was on the first version, but I have the region one Special Edition DVD and it has: -The Magical Making of Merlin -Commetary By Director Steve Barron -CGI Scene Creation -Scene Selection -English Closed Captioned

apropos DVDs... does anyone know, if there is a difference between the Special Edition and the former Version? There's no difference. I own both the normal and special edition DVDs. But I believe the special edition is the only one with the movie commentary and the commentary does add a few more bits of information etc. For example, the director talks about Mab and Miranda during her scenes etc.

Love when she talks as herself and is dressed as Mab and before the effects on lady lake and Mab. Also love how she is grabbing mordred in the shot where he is dead. She looks like a vampire about to suck his blood hehe I love when she's dressed as Mab but uses her real voice. I always imagined that's what Mab used to sound like in her younger years. Miranda has a very pretty voice. I also love it when Miranda suddenly does the whispery Mab voice. It just makes you want to SQUEE! "It's Queen Mab!"

I own both DVDs (as well as a free one that came with a newspaper)- the regular edition doesn't have the CGI making of, not that it's very long anyway, and it doesn't have the commentary, which is kind of cool. I think I typed up some of the stuff that was said about Mab/Miranda from the commentary a while back, I'll see if I can find a link to the post, for anyone who doesn't have the special edition. EDIT: Here's the first part mrap.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=9&page=30#1526, the rest of the stuff from the commentary is on the next page. I'm sure there was a lot more stuff than that in the actual commentary, but obviously there were bits I couldn't remember when I came to type it up.

Oh thanks - I thought they really might have made a DVD with extra scenes or more bonus stuff than that.

In my Making Of the interview is a few seconds shorter than the one that's on miranda-richardson.com - the part in which she compares the Mab voice with Gollum is missing. (Which DVD has it / is it from? I have 2 already, but wouldn't mind buying a 3rd .)
