Ooh, how awesome would it have been to go to *that* open house and poke around? (and wow, guys, how did we go from a discussion about Miranda selling her house to one about her sexual preference? Remember to keep things on topic. Might help ohpahleeze to not make any more foot-in-mouth comments like 'weirdo or lesbian'. One of those things is not the same as the other, thx. *doffs mod hat*)

Those pics are awesome. I know what you mean about the Dagenham wig - it's a little Thatcher-y - but I suppose because she is playing a real person (who is maybe still alive? not sure) it's important to get the details right.

Eh, yeah, I guess she does look a little puffy in that picture. I'd still rather see a woman in her fifties look like one, rather than photoshopped into some creepy porcelain-alien 'ideal' of beauty. Miranda's expressive face is one of the things that makes her gorgeous, and to take that away because 'omg wrinkles!'... yeah, no.

Ooh, nifty. You're right, though. It doesn't look much like her actual quill, which I believe was a pheasant feather. Actually I think the box the coolest thing about it, really - along with the fact that they ACTUALLY HAVE RITA MERCH OMG.

Cute, yeah I wonder how many different hairstyles/colours she's had throughout her life? Some people just seem to have that sort of face that can look awesome with heaps of different hairstyles. Other people's face shape and colouring (like me) means that they keep a similar hairstyle for ever and don't deviate too much from their natural colour. I'm jealous of her versatility *g*.

Rubicon looks like it will be awesome, but god damn I wish they'd lay off the photoshop in the promo pics.

Are these interview on the website? I couldn't watch anything on there. How did you manage it, Ali?

Billy Connolly and Miranda! Glee!
Honestly, I think even if they didn't know each other well, I suspect they were at least having a conversation when they got nabbed for a photo. I mean, otherwise it would have been some photographer being all 'now you two come over here and stand together', and, well, neither Miranda nor Billy have reputations for being easy with the press *g*.

Ooh, love the dress! Not sure how well all that back eyeliner suits her, but the dress is gorgeous! Oh, and Ali, those images on AP image are pretty much exactly the same ones I found when I glanced the AAP Image website. AAP is the company I now work for. And Image is about the only damn thing I don't have access to. Maybe I need to make a friend in that department .

Hi Samantha,
Welcome to the boards. If you have joined here to join in the discussion about and fangirling of Miranda, we'll be glad to have you. If, however, you have simply joined in order to pimp your book, you will probably find the members of MRAP less than receptive. We are, after all, fans of Miranda, and if we want to read hot PotO stories, we would generally seek out fanfic about Madam Giry *g*.

You can post a thread about your book in the 'Other Celebrities/Movies' thread if you wish - that is generally the place for discussion of works that do not involve Miranda. Please inform the board members that they will have to pay for the novel, though.

Hi Samantha! It took me a little while to figure out what you were talking about - I presume that what you were tryign to do was upload an image through the 'add attachments' box when you put up a new post. Now, I've never tried to do that, so I have no idea whether it works. Any other board members, I'd be really interested to know if you've done it successfully. But eithr way, I'd suggest you just get open an account at www.photobucket.com and use their hosting for images. I've never had any trouble at all posting that way. Does that help?
