Nimue told him to wear his helmet before he crossed the street or rode his bike. She didn't want him getting brain damage.

I can understand that kind of behavior. I like it when my brother is on the receiving end of my mom and not me. You'd never come out if you could enter movies no one would bother to live in reality anymore. They'd just pick their favorite movie and disappear. The closest thing that you could get to entering movies is virtual reality. We are probably going to have that soon in the future. Look at the new nintendo wii controllers and all of the systems can connect to the internet now. The military already uses virtual reality for training purposes. They probably are just trying to find a way to mass produce cheaply cause they already have the technology and its getting better every day. We have a psychology class at my school, but I don't remember hearing anything about them learning about tortured animals. and I don't want to know what happened to the monkeys.

that's freaking satanic who would do that to a dog? Maybe Frik is a sadistic bastard and enjoys seeing other people bullied (ambrosia) when its not him.

Well I would have believed too that he didn't have any choice except he defied Mab easily when she killed Morgan and he's always trying to interject his opinion or give advice. *rolles eyes* lol So its seems frik has always been able to think or act for himself whether he decides to or not. So when her dog started being disobedient to her Mab didn't want him anymore and cast him away. Dogs shouldn't insult their masters. {jking }

ok thanks, cause I was kinda thinking that, but I wasn't sure. Hmm. Merlin got Igraine and Uther together and Mab got Guinevere and Lancelot together.

Who was taking care of Mordred's dirty diapers? the maid or something? That's one of the reasons I think Mab let Ambrosia take care of Merlin. Mab isn't into dirty diapers. If she had took Merlin it would have been frik stuck with the dirty diapers. LOL Mab stays around with Mordred a lot though because she possibly noticed that's why she lost Merlin. Merlin never knew her as a child so he had no love for her. Mab sent for Merlin when he became useful (magic powers woke up) and didn't have anything to do with him before then. First 10 years of your childhood is when you form your most basic beliefs and impressions of the world. I wonder why Mab never went to see him before his powers woke up. Do you think she was watching from a distance even if she never revealed herself to Merlin?

one thing I'm confused about: In the scene where Mad and Mordred are talking and frik goes "Isn't that rather unworthy of us?" Maybe I'm being dense, but what was that supposed to mean exactly? Their actions are unworthy (beneath them) ? or what...?

I think Mordred and Mab stayed at one end of the room and Frik and Morgan stayed at the other end most of the time. Except when a common enemy like Merlin came to visit so then they temporarly join forces. It looks like Morgan and Frik probably just made out most of the time. lol Was there a lot of talking going on between them?
Hmmm, why would frik want to work for Mab? What could she promise him? magic powers is that all? Like if he joined her back when she was nice. but still why would he want to work for her? Has she always had a sidekick or did frik convince her to take him on? What did she do when/if she didnt have a goon?

So if everything had gone the way Mab planned it from the beginning was Merlin basically supposed to become King of Britain and restore the old ways? and do what about the Christians? No one ever said kill the Christians, just "lead the people back to the old ways." You think they would've killed them since they were killing the pagans first? I don't think I would be able to keep Mab in-character. She's a very hard character to write. Maybe I'll have a better idea after I read the books. Awhile ago I started writing a Harry Potter fanfic in my notebook and got to like chapter 3. I've got lots of good ideas, but finding the time and getting them down on paper how you want it is hard. I'll sign up tho and start my favorites list. I've found good Harry Potter fics on there too, so yes, I do know there are gems among the crap. Mab video I made today: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhw3527VUrM

Its a good example. So there was no solution to the problem? since neither was going to be able to understand each other cept Merlin still should have been able to understand both sides since he's both.
No, I'm not a member.......but I read a lot of stuff on there.
