i was on imdb and someone posted this (this is not me!) I once saw her in a cafe in London...she was so hard to reconize..,A man asked her if he could take a picture from her, she just said: No,sorry, i don't do that...I noticed that she was very shy.. It was funny to see the look on the man's face...a little dissapointed, but he accepted her privacy.. I'm convinced that you must respect someone.

i absolutely agree. if i were a celebrity, i wouldn't want tons of people taking my pictures, but if someone asked nicely i might be inclined to pose with them. lol. i have heard that she is very private about her life and i know she doesn't do personal interviews very much. i hope if i ever meet her she'll take a picture. ;D

Definitely. Miranda is shy - Fran and I can certainly attest to that; we've met her - I managed to say hello and tell her I admire her work, at which she smiled and said thankyou, then sort of ran away. I wish she's given me just a moment longer, so that she might have realised I wasn't after an autograph or photo and just wanted to give her a box of French chocoloate, but I knew before I/we even approached her, as a fan who's read as lot about her, that she's shy and I mightn't get much out of her. I'm pleased I even got to say what I did in person . In my six months in England, I also had the chance to meet Judi dench outside a theatre - twice. My friend and I gave her flowers and La Duree macaroons and made her smile. I think the hardest thing, for actors, is that people just want to take and take and take. Can I have your autograph, can I have a photo, etc etc etc. There was a horrible man outside the theatre that night, an ebay autograph hunter who just kept shoving pictures at her. She signed them all, but shr was looking very harassed by the time she finished, and the smile she gave us when we gave her the flowers was absolutely amazing - she looked like she was nearly in tears - and it was the most amazing experience to give something back - even something small and material - to someone who has given you so much enjoyment through her work. So yes, respect their privacy, but also don't just take. Judi gave me an autograph, she almost gave me a picture, but that was what she was doing, after the play. She seemed okay with it. I would never ask something like that of Miranda, ever, because she's not. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to tell Miranda again someday how much I admire her, and she'll be in more of a mood to wait a moment before running away and understand that I don't want anything when I say that except the chance to tell her. Respecting people's privacy, and treating them like what they are - people you admire immensely - is very, very important.

:)I think if she isn't out relaxing and you ask nicely she may be ok with it. But if she was sitting in a cafe she may of wanted to just drink her coffee or whatever and be alone. So I understand. I hope if I meet her I can get a photo of the both of us:)I'd treasure it forever:D

If I saw her out in public, I definately wouldn't approach her. She's entitled to her privacy, and I know that if a random stranger approached me in the street, in a cafe or wherever wanting to take my photo, I'd be rather scared.

I have often thought of what I would do if I ever saw one of my favroite artists out in public. In all honesty I would leave them be, although I can't help but think that is a once in a life time moment right there. It would be wonderful to get the chance just to tell them how much you enjoy their work.

I don't know, if this belongs here, but yesterday I read with whom you'd like Miranda to be with. Names, like for example Gabriel Byrne, have been mentioned.
Miranda has never been married, that's what we know. Have you ever thought that she's maybe not interested in men, but in women? This is just a little speculation, because I've never read if she was attracted to men or women? Do you know something about that?
I'm just wondering, why there are no boyfriends listed anywhere. But maybe I just overlooked them, don't know. ^^

Ya, that's right. Somehow I just can't see her with a man. So I think, she's interested in women. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong. Actually it doesn't matter. ^^

lol whatever suits her:) I think she would be cute with either but I think she has had some boyfriends, when you see a couple of her with male guests, but that is her business:)
