Well yeah..that might be a bit hard..you can teach dogs to be gentle and friendly to rabbits but I don't know about cats..

Well--I actually love that she doesn't have children. Most people (I say MOST because this is certainly not the case for everyone) have children because they feel the need to have someone around who loves them unconditionally OR they have children because it seems like the 'normal' or 'right' thing to do. Miranda sort of breaks that mold in a way as most actresses (older actresses, anyhow) do. She has quite a large group of people who love and adore her, she has other outlets (as she has said herself), and she doesn't fit into the 'normal' catagory as a person (not because she is an actress, but because she is an independent creative human being). I respect her a great deal.
