Isn't she a bit old for that part?? True I suppose, they might be able 2 make her younger with makeup. maybe when she was younger the part would have been good for her:

maybe we should start a petition for lady macbeth! hehe... thing is, she said in that book (the 'stand-ups and strumpets etc.) that she didn't like doing classics in particular

Not even if one could 'modernise' the play?

Perhaps. I suppose, now i think bout it, there might be less space for building and creativity in some classics, because people sort of know them...
What book is that??

Yes I'm having that problem getting a copy of Dance to the Music of Time. You can easily buy it in Waterstones but I'm poor so am touring the libraries trying to get a hold of a copy.

Apparantly they are making a series of films based upon the Chronicles of Narnia (by CS. Lewis) - I don't know if anyone remembers the BBC TV adaptations of the late 80s - and it has occurred to me that Miranda would be excellent in the role of the White Witch in the Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe and then The Green Lady in the Silver Chair (although indications atm suggest that the Silver Chair may be one of two books ignored.)
Whether or not she is in it, I cannot wait to see how they make it. Outstanding. The sfx and prosthetics co. behind LOTR are working on it, so it will surely look good. Ahhhhh

Yes!! I have all of those bbc ones- the ones with Barbara Kellerman as the White Witch and The Lady of the Green Kurtle, right?? I LOVED the Narnia Chronicles when I was younger, then when I got older i realised about the whole Christian allegery side to it, so it put me off a bit... I think Miranda would be fantastic!! I do hope she's in it

Yeh that's it! They were genius. I also wasn't aware of the religious content until later in my life, but now I just view them as great stories. Ah I have got soo sentimental about them that I shall have to sit down and watch them all with my little brother when I get home.
