Ok so I was getting a bit bored, and following on from our discussions about meeting famous people, I wondered what you guys would ask Miranda if you could ask her just the one question?
I would go first but atm I can't think of anything. If you can't think of one for Miranda, perhaps extend it to someone else you admire/like say Johnny, what would you ask him? Or even someone you hate (Elephant grrr) as there is as much potential there I believe.
I would ask Elephant why her accent fluctuates to suit her, Welsh one minute and LA the next.

hehe good question ;D... and hard topic!!! hmmm... i would ask... well it wouldn't be a personal question because everyone deserves their privacy and so probably... oooh i know! who do you look up to most and why? yeah i'd like to know that i think, because, well we all look up to her and get inspiration from her, but who does she look up to??

Doesn't she say Willem too?( ) and Robert Duvall? and the blokey who was in Saint-Ex? Hard to think she could respect anyone's acting more than her own, but obviously she's not conceited!! Still can't think of a question....i'll sleep on it... xxxxx

oh, ok, i have a question that would interest me to know....i'd probably stumble over it though so i don't think i actually WOULD ask this.... OK, it's 'You say that the part of Viv was easier than others because she is so free and not at all repressed like the other characters in the film, so, for the opposite reason, was it very hard to play Queen Mary in The Lost Prince?' I wondered that, because i imagine an actress like her could be 'taken over' and that character must have been difficult as hell!! xxxxxxx

oooh good question Fran!! yeah i'd really like to know that... i suppose for any actress attempting the part of Queen Mary, there's gotta be a danger of crossing the line between repressed and not strong enough in performance. i can see a lot of actors doing that, but Miranda didn't!!! i'm feeling amazed again...

Oh me too!! Suppose the academy can't see a good old subtle performance when they see one so they give it to Julie Walters who, although fantastic, was a very showy role. I'm just so interested in how she works...her process and all.... xxxxxx

I'm sure I've read on countless occasions that she isn't very method. She just works from what she's given on the paper, and maybe explores it with the director (I think it was Cronenbourg who said she is very inquisitive). Doesn't she also say that she doesn't find it too hard to leave a role behind - amazing when you consider some of the things she's portrayed.

Hehe, wouldn't like to meet her during her Yvonne time!! I don't where i read this, but she was saying that when she was filming After Pilkington that everyone apart from her on the set believed in the character apart from her and she was just thinking about other things!! Her working method must have changed since then! xxx

If I were to walk up to Miranda and ask her anything, I would probably start having an asthma attack first, lol. Sacramento is one of the worst places to live for people with allergies and asthma. I got both from living here since birth, grrrrr. After taking a couple of puffs from my inhaler, hmmmmmmm.............. I would probably ask her why she decided to go into acting, and if she was inspired by anyone to choose her profession.

Hate to sound like sad fact-fan girl here , but she always seems to say to that question that she enjoyed making people laugh at school, and she had a very good English teacher who encouraged her in that direction, and gave her the best parts in the plays they read...! God bless that English teacher i say!!! xxxxx

I thought some more over this topic, and was wondering what kind of music Miranda likes? Also, not to be a noseyparker, but I often wonder why she has chosen to live as she does? Does anyone know? Just curious.
