The idea is as we wait for young victoria to come out we write a story together. Script:)we each can be a royal real or made up:)at the evening where the king yells at the Duchess but this is before all that.
I will be the Duchess hehe:)cause I just like her:)you all can be who ever you want. Ideas ;Dpeople from that age or add in queen mary or something hehe :Pbe creative :-*please Add:)Conroy was not with her but I am adding him anyway hehe
Setting is the ballroom where all the royals and important people are waiting to go to the main dining room. The Duchess is standing beside her lover Conroy and is looking across the room at Victoria. Her daughter.
Duchess: Should I go over there? No. No best not. I don't want her think I am being rude. But the thing about the rooms is bound to come up isn't it. Oh Gosh what am I going to do (sips her wine).

Conroy: You do nothing. Much as you'd like to be able to protect her forever, you can't. She needs to learn to get on without her mother right behind her shoulder.

Conroy: No, it is. But you must let her live her own life. Everyone must live their own life.

Duchess: She may not be your daughter. But you are the reason she is doing this. She isn't very fond of you.

Conroy: No, love. She's rebelling against you and your restrictions. I have no say in how she's raised.

Duchess: Yet you don't seem to care if you force her to sign something without reading it.

Conroy: My duty to this country comes before anything else.

Duchess: And does your duty Sir involve scaring the poor girl out of her wits? (sternly).

Conroy: Of course not. If I did so, it was unintentional.

Duchess: And I think she is right on some things. You do control me (sighs and realises she is speaking wrongly of him). Forgive me. I lost my head for a moment.

Conroy: (Nods) Quite all right. Normal for everyone to slip every now and again I suppose?

Duchess: I do love you John. You have to know that. One day we could be Lord and Lady Conroy. (holds his hand gently).
