Sorry I missed a day!! London it'll be, since that was most popular (Thanks everyone, I might bother you a bit more for info on the city every now and again! Mab retired back to the lake to regain some strength. A simple journy seemed to be more draining then what it used to be. Here, the sun was begining to set, its orange glow reflecting off the lakes surface. Reclaiming the stone from the lakes soggy banks, still slick in her fingers, she thought about the girl. But an unfamilar name comes to mind. Jack. The vision is breif, seen on the stones surface, just as thoughs before it. This was a turn of events Mab had not expected. Lilly was not the product of Merlin and Nimue, as she thought. But a decendant of a creation. A creation by the Lady of the Lake. A man with no mortal blood. Mab's grip grew stonger around the stone. Her grin brodened. Lilly was of much more value then her senses had led her to believe.

Jack was the son of lady of the Lake and Merlin in Merlin's Appretice (I hope, otherwise I'll have to change the name!) I'd forgotten about the film at first, but remebered, and decided to play off it.
Lillian laid down in bed. It was late now, but she just couldn’t sleep. She watched the shadows, plaguing each corner of her small bedroom. Partly, she expected to see them squirm under her gaze. Would Mab soon emerge from them again? She wanted her to, and then again, the thought drove her crazy with fear. She didn’t mention a word of what had occurred to her mother as they sat down to dinner together. She knew the women would never let her leave home. After all, since her fathers car accident, Lillian was all her mother had. Would the queen of old ways be angry with her for not leaving? Mab was not heartless, she just was void of a mortal heart. After all, without a mortal soul, how could she have a mortal heart? And with out this, how could she experience mortal feelings? None the less, she had feeling. Standing in Lilly’s presence, unknown to the girl, she kept perfectly still, expressionless in the dark. She knew the feeling of having a child walk away. She understood what it was like to be left behind, alone. She had even before her only son, experienced a love of another sort, that was long gone and past. Mab knew she needed Lilly. This was all that was left to connect her to her rein. And so she would find a away to teach her. A place in which they could experience power, that spoke power in it’s very title.

*thonk* Gah... tis so long since I've watched that film... That was great! *huggles* *basks in the warm glow of updates* I like the way Mab muses over what it's like to lose a child, and seems to empathize with the girl's mother, then a second later decides just where she's going to whisk Lilly away to.

Awe, okay then, that was a pretty stupid question! Despite some weakness, Mab always had a resonably strong will of power. It was all of her being. The blood flowing through her, the oxygen she breathed. So, it was easy to set a sleeping spell on Lilly's mother. She would awake when the spell wore off, refreshed, and healthy, as if her coma was nothing more then a nights sleep. In the city she blended in like a camillain, unseen, but fully present. She sifted through the crowds with such grace and ease, that it was difficult for Lillian to keep up. Oh dear...this is going be difficult, isn't it? lol Fair warning, these will come shorter and farther a part for a while, whithout much doubt.

London wasn't at all what Mab had expected. At the same time, it was more then what she'd hoped for. Busy, tall, powerful- Big Ben stood amist it all. Magical, and old. This would be her teaching grounds. Lillian stood beside Mab now, out of breath, and looking up at the old clock. "Big Ben," She informed, as if her Queen, and ancester didn't know what she was looking at. It was perfect. Mab started forward the girl trailing behind. Now was the matter of where to begin. How to begin. Without her books teaching would be a matter of pure skill, not studies. And without Frik to assist, Mab would be expected to put full energy into her teachings. Soon enough it would all pay off. Time had morphed against her, but it was suitably coming back now. She could feel the pressure of powers from other wordly contestants owning in on London. And then, after that, the rest of the world with it.
