Took a while because I have a real problem with drawing things on a slant. Slants are evil. And then the wretched computer didn't scan it right, so it's a lil bit darker than it is on the page. But anyways - I love looking at people's art, so if anyone has even a miniscule interest in drawing, post some pics here and make me happy. ;D
Aww, thankies kind folks. ^^ Yeah, I just use pencils, some of which are charcoaly-ish, I think. When I try using charcoal sticks, I usually get massive un-erasable fingerprints all over my work, which is such a damn crime because I love charcoal. ^^ And nah, it's not edited but you can't see the pencil lines very clearly so it looks a bit odd. I think my scanner must have an auto-brightness thing that made it a bit dark. It squidged one of her eyes, too. *frown*

Oh, I think the high contrast adds to the effect, myself. It's lovely. I thought you might have used photoshop to get it like that.
And geh, yeah, I know what you mean about charcoal. I haven't been in an art class (the only place I really had access to the stuff) for ages, but I remember. I *love* progresso pencils. Don't know if they have the same name anywhere, but they're like a pencil with no wood? Instead they have like a hard plasticy coating over a massive lead? So much love, for those.
