I drew a piccie at last! Tell me what you think! Took a while because I have a real problem with drawing things on a slant. Slants are evil. And then the wretched computer didn't scan it right, so it's a lil bit darker than it is on the page. But anyways - I love looking at people's art, so if anyone has even a miniscule interest in drawing, post some pics here and make me happy. ;D

That's an amazing drawing, I have to say. Perhaps Mab will hire you as her personal artist?

Oh, wow. That is absolutely amazing. I'm gathering you were using a picture reference, but even so, OMG. Did you touch it up with photoshop at all? That is even more amazing, if you didn't.
Fabulous. Have you ever considered drawing professionally?

P.S. What media do you use? Is that... pencil and charcoal?

Aww, thankies kind folks. ^^ Yeah, I just use pencils, some of which are charcoaly-ish, I think. When I try using charcoal sticks, I usually get massive un-erasable fingerprints all over my work, which is such a damn crime because I love charcoal. ^^ And nah, it's not edited but you can't see the pencil lines very clearly so it looks a bit odd. I think my scanner must have an auto-brightness thing that made it a bit dark. It squidged one of her eyes, too. *frown*

Oh, I think the high contrast adds to the effect, myself. It's lovely. I thought you might have used photoshop to get it like that.
And geh, yeah, I know what you mean about charcoal. I haven't been in an art class (the only place I really had access to the stuff) for ages, but I remember. I *love* progresso pencils. Don't know if they have the same name anywhere, but they're like a pencil with no wood? Instead they have like a hard plasticy coating over a massive lead? So much love, for those.

Hmeh, don't think I've come across them. They remind me of those massive chunky things you get given at primary school, so I'm guessing not. ^^
