I've got to read "Bored of the Rings" at some point. I think my mum has a copy somewhere *goes to search*
Know what you mean about Gollum. Such an annoying little bastard. I just wanted him and all the damn irritating hobbits to fall into the volcano and die.

The only thing I liked about the movie was the stylish way in which they made the horses of those "ring ghost" guys up. all those pointed nails and rusty bits and bloody mouths. pretty cool.

Can't really remember that. Only saw each film once (at the cinema), and that was quite enough for me. Too much, in fact.

I only saw the first film (at the cinema). a few weeks ago two classmates tried to watch part two with me. from the first minute on I was hidingbehind my blanket, ready to switch the TV off at the first hint of the presence of said Gollum. We managed to watch ten minutes, and then I had them convinced that I REALLY had a Gollum-phobie.

You are lucky, not having to watch more than 10 minutes. Half the problem with LotR is its overlength. Usually, I like long stuff, but when it gets boring like those bloody films...

well, apart from that blasted Gollum, I quite liked the movie, the landscapes were magnificent. but the story, well, let's better not talk about it.

That is about all the sums I can do at the moment. Heat+Maths+Computing+impending doom (or, should I say, exams) = brain meltdown

ewww, exams. our last ones for this term are starting on monday. with the worst subject apart from sports ever: chemistry. And I still have to read the book I was supposed to have read 4 weeks ago for the german essay next week, and I'll have to weedle my way into understanding maths, and history of colonial India, and and and.

Know the feeling. Next week, I have a General Studies exam, on a topic which we have spent precisely 3 lessons on, and which even the teachers agree is pointless, I have to finish documenting my Computing project by Wednesday so that I can take it to my Computing exam, then the week after that we have Study leave for a few weeks, and I have another GS and Computing exams, a History exam, and three maths exams, two of which are on the same day.
<hits head on table> Owww...
<hits Merlin's head onto table> Ah, I feel better now.

Ok, messed up chemistry today. I have about 5 out of 7 answers, and most of them only half. that was that. but when I look at your heap, woah, I feel really bad for complaining ...

computing totally escapes me, always has. with a lot of help from my teacher I was able to write this little programm where you have a ball and make it bounce off of the walls. that should give you an idea of how VERY much a computer person I am.

Cool! We've never done that sort of thing, but we have set up a booking system for a village hall using a mixture of Microsoft Access and Visual Basic Code. What fun Exam is now over! But I have two more next week, alas... But I do get study leave! Yay!
