I liked it, it was different. Although Miranda's parts were kinda small, she'd pop up everyone once in awhile. Her accent was good as always.

It's also online: www.tv-links.cc/movie/southland-tales.htmI haven't watched it yet and I probably won't because it's not really my type of movie, but I would've had to deal with a guilty conscience if I didn't share the link.

When I watched this movie I just fast forwarded to her parts which I'm sad to say were so few. But there is a scene when she's watching all the TVs, and she is eating. I don't remember exactly why but I was cracking up.

I watched this movie last night, and I still have no idea what it was all about. General gist, yes. Details? No. The storyline is pretty much incomprehensible, but the spectacle is entertaining. It was kinda riveting even if you didn't know what was going on. Miranda's character was in it very little, and she didn't actually have many lines, but I have to say that even without much time of much to say, she managed to make Nana Mae both creepy and interesting. She would sit there in front of her screens and watch the whole world, and she seemed to get off on the power, really. It's amazing what an actress like Miranda can convey in nothing but movement, the shift of her eyes, etc. Also she has blue fingernails, which made me ;D. I took some screencaps: Blue fingernails FTW. This character is like Rita Skeeter on crack. Also! I watched the behind the scenes thinger (nothing from Miranda, but they talked about her briefly), and the costume lady suggested that the high neck thingy on her jacket was sort of reminiscent of 'Snow White's Mother' (I presume she meant stepmother) and that Nana had seven little men in the background in a few of her scenes. That's sort of random and weird, but intertextually amusing when we know Miranda had played the Wicked Queen of Snow White as well *g*.

Ha that's interesting info Angie. I love the first pic, she looks fabilicious. Miranda can make any sized part seem full. Like Antoinette in phantom. Her part wasn't the biggest but heck it was one you loved and rememberd. Thanks again Ang.
