HARRY Potter fans last night went potty after learning that hit game Quidditch has been axed from the new movie.
THREE characters featured in the book The Order of the Phoenix are also out.
They are Professor Gilderoy Lockhart — played by Kenneth Branagh — ****journalist Rita Skeeter (Miranda Richardson)**** Dobby the House Elf.
Producers said it was not possible to include everything in the film, starring Daniel Radcliffe as Harry, or it would be seven hours long.
The movie is released on July 13.07

I was at the cinema a few weeks ago with my friend and the trailer was playing. I told her that they'd cut Miranda's part. My friend was like "but she's in it! Why?!" I'm still considering seeing it, as long as they don't go and cut Julie Walters' character. No Miranda is bad enough, but no Miranda and no Julie would be awful!

yeah, I was sad that they did cut Miranda out of there. I wanted to see the scene between Hermione and Rita. Though I was kind of expecting it.

Let's hope that Rita gets to play an important role in Deathly Hallows that can't be explained away ...

It kind of makes sense that she was cut - she's really only in it for a small part. I doubt whether she'll be in the 6th film either, as I can't remember her doing much in Half-Blood Prince.
I highly doubt Julie Walters will ever be cut from a HP film, Mrs Weasley is too valuable a character.

yeah I did. I liked how dark they are making it but for some reason seeing Voldemort in a black tuxedo kind of made me giggle.
Bella looks very friendly in that pic.

Yeah, the image of Voldemort in a suit made me giggle, too.
