You have NEVER seen Wizard of Oz! I hadn't, and told my friend. Her reaction was the same as yours. A week later, she was round at my house armed with the DVD.

I was *obsessed* with the Wizard of Oz as a child. I loved the Wicked Witch and wrote was probably fanfiction about her for like an entire year (I remember my year one teacher asking me if there was anything else I thought I could write about, lol).
I'm with you guys on the Alice thing, though. I watched the Disney version a lot when I was little, but it always... I don't know, disconcerted me a little. I felt very frustrated for the poor little girl stuck in a place where nothing at all made sense and the rules changed all the time so she kept offending people and doing everything wrong. I can appreciate the dream-like quality to it now, and how well done that was, but it still makes me slightly uncomfortable.

yeah it is the real life verison is better cause i dunno it is just betta my ballet school did alice in wonderland for our end of year performance and we had to watch alice in wonderland like the whole cast so we know our characters more and i was not a main character i was dinnah the cat and on another nite i was a white rose in the queens garden
