Wow you two are going to Paris?
I hope you have a fantasic time. I went two years ago in October and it is so amazing. I just love the Louvre aret gallery!!
Why do you hate the Eiffel Tower? I thought it was fun going up it, although I wasn't allowed to go up by the stairs (which I wanted to do) beucase my Gran wanted to go up in the lift!!
I never went to the Opera Garnier though so report back and tell us what it was like!!!!

I've only been out of the country once, to Mexico....the Caman Islands really. My mum is so afraid to leave now because of all the terrorists and such. She said we have to wait untill the heat dies down, so-to-speak. I told her that traveling will never be the same, and we can't help that....but that doesn't mean that we have to be isolated in Spartanburg forever. I think I made a good point....maybe my mum will reconsider. *crosses fingers*

Well at times I worry about flying but then I have to accept that there is a threat and that if you did worry about it then you would never get anywhere.
Like you could walk down the road and be hit by a car, or electrocuted by the TV or something like that!!
When we went to mexico with school my teacher told us that each time you take a breath a plane takes off so that reasured us all a bit!!
I am also a bit worried of using the tube train when ever I go to London now, but I have to just get in with it!!
I agree with you Madame Giry. We just have to accept it and get on with it!

Oh, I think I did make a good point then...*feels special*
I think my mum's coming around a bit. She's been talking more about flying to Canada for my cousin's wedding....Maybe England is next!

That would be so cool! You're so lucky. We almost never go on vacations. But when we do, they're usually pretty close.

Awwww. Well we sometimes go on holiday in England to places like Cornwall or the Lake District. But then sometimes I go to visit my aunty in Lancashire or my uncle in London with my Gran!! Sometimes I actually prefer to stop in the UK on holiday than to go abroard.

Well, since you're already living in England...you have no reason for going anywhere else....*mumbles about how lucky Queenie is*

Yeah, but its nice to go to places abroad. I would like to go to America one day, my aunty says she will take me to New York when I have finished my GCSE's!!!
The one place I would like to go to is Russia. I went last year but only spent two days there and it was just amazing so I would spend longer there if I went again.
Madame Giry, its not THAT great living in England at least where I live! Most of the exciting stuff happens in London and I only go there occasionly. Like the Peter and the Wolf thing. There is no way I could persuade anyone to take me and I would be too scared to try and get a train there on my own (and besides it would be hard to explain to my parents exactly WHY I was going there!)

I'd love to go to Russia too! My dad has been seven times! Ahh, so jealous.
Guess what everyone! I have Fall Break! Meaning, I have an enormously large....four day weekend. Hehe...

Yay for madamegiry! I have a three and a half day week next week. I have Monday off for Colombus Day, school on Tuesday, a half day Wednesday for PLAN testing for SAT and ACT prep, and then just school Thursday and Friday.
Which means more time here! Hooray! ;D

Cool. Well I have half term coming up soon (in about 3 weeks) and will be going to Germany for one week, I can't wait.
The only down side to it is that I have to learn all my French orsals for my mock GCSE's and two days after I get back to school I have my science practicle exam which I am so worried about. Luckily we work in pairs and so me and my best friend are doing it which is a lot better since we both have no idea about science and so we can fail together!!!
